Hotel Not Hotel Amsterdam

The hotel was lovely and the staff exceptional. The only issue I had was the Hotel no longer did breakfast, I was not notified beforehand even though I had purchased a bed and breakfast package. I was given a list of nearby places I could use. The staff were brilliant, very friendly, could not have asked for better.

Very close to the tram , you can get anywhere from here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place appears in better condition in the pictures than in person. The shared bathrooms and sheets were clean.

Overall the stay was satisfactory. Beds were/was terrible (my bed) to sleep on. Doors slamming all hours of the night. Floor in my room looked extremely dirty, staff weren’t overly friendly until checkout and I got one really sweet and kind lady. Made conversation seemed to genuinely care about asking where I’m going now. I will not stay in the future. The only thing I thoroughly enjoyed was the many places to sit and read.

Everything perfect just like on the photos from website. Bit far from city center if you want to walk (we did) but there’s a tram 1 min walk from the hotel which is great.

Decent area, friendly staff and a tram ride away from the major attractions. Cleanliness wasn’t an issue as they had cleaners cleaning around the clock but people staying could be an issue as getting in shower after they’re coming out and leaving it untidy or not flushing the toilets properly. Other than that, no concerns and would definitely go back. However, I paid for the breakfast for 2 days and realised on arrival they’ve stopped doing breakfast so still waiting for my refund.

Room was warm and not very ideal but was ok.

A fantastically quirky place - full of character and charm. We slept in the tram which was fabulous! Really close to a tram line - only 20 minutes to the train station. Would definitely recommend!

El lugar muy novedoso, buena ubicación a una cuadra de la parada que te lleva a la plaza Dam que está en pleno centro. Las instalaciones muy lindas, el baño es tipo vestuario pero siempre impecable y cuenta con todos los elementos de aseo necesarios. Las fotos de la publicacion son 100% reales. Nos tocó la habitacion que es tipo un Tranvía, pensabamos que iba a ser incomoda pero la verdad es que pasamos un dias hermosos, descansamos bien y estuvimos muy comodos, habia leido comentarios negativos respecto de la higiene del lugar lo cual me daba miedo pero nada de eso nos tocó vivir, todo siempre muy limpio. Renglón aparte para el personal que se mostró siempre muy calido y dispuesto a colaborar en todo momento. El lugar es un 10, su relacion precio/ubicación/calidad es inmejorable considerando los precios que se manejan en Amsterdam. Sin dudas volveremos

WHAT a ridiculous place all together - when we walked in the Tamara the floor manager was talking to a person whom we thought was a customer waiting to check-in, It was not! She was casually visiting a friend. After about 15 minutes, she finally acknowledged us. No one greeted us and no one let us know that they would be with us shortly. The ROOM itself was absolutely ridiculous! We think it may have been a broom closet made into a room. One big bed adjacent to the walls. The only way to get in bed was to jump on it. NO desk, no shelves, no chairs, no hooks and NO WINDOWS. The best thing that happened was that the floor manager found us another place to stay - but mind you, this was after telling us that she was not on DUTY and could not help us?????? then why are you here TAMARA? Then she decided to lay a guilt trip on us for being a bit impatient with the circumstances. THE MOST HORRIBLE PLACE AND PEOPLE. We had been told my EMAIL that the room had shelves so that my husband's sleeping mask has plenty of room to fit the MASK ON. No such thing. We were informed that the guy, the employee that answered our concerns had been conveniently fired! We want A FULL REFUND!!!!!!!

If quirky is your game then Hotel Not Hotel is your board! This is not your average stay, so perfect for those looking for something a little bit out of ordinary. Think glamping but on another level! We stayed in the 'Invisible Room' and it was perfect for coming back after a long day exploring, cuddling up together in our cozy little pod. We explored the rest of the hotel, and looking around at check out time meant we got to have a little nosey at all the different rooms, each one is it's own special kind of different! We would definitely come back again and choose a different room just to enjoy a different experience. Thank you for having us!

Our room was very clean, fun, and comfortable. Staff did anything they could to ensure our stay was perfect. My favorite place to stay in amsterdam

It was nice but we had no shampoo and conditioner and our private shower was clogged.

The staff were amazing and so lovely. They were even nice enough to provide 2 free drinks due it being my birthday!! The room was nice and the hotel is conveniently located near a tram station.

Ficamos em um quarto que tinha banheiro, no entanto, o quarto era minusculo. Não há lugares para abrir as malas, estejam cientes caso forem com muitas malas. Deixavamos as malas no chão ao dormir e durante o dia, tinhamos que coloca-las em cima da cama. O processo de checkin foi rapido e facil, visto que há recepcao 24h. Após o checkout, deixamos as nossas malas sem nenhum custo e foi otimo. Todos os funcionarios são gentis e educados. A localização não é tão proximo do centro, mas há ponto de bonde e onibus proximos da hospedagem e tambem conseguimos fazer tudo praticamente a pé, só esteja ciente que farão uma boa caminhada, mas foi otimo para conhecermos a cidade.

Tram stop right next to you, great service trams are so frequent. Nice quiet location. Can’t complain, very enjoyable stay! If I was ever to visit Amsterdam again I would 100% book here again.

Hotellet ligger med en kvarts reseavstånd med spårvagenen (nr 17) in till centrum. Men det är det väl värt! Lugnt och skönt, toppenrum och trevlig personal
