Vitton Beach Resort

A very tired property that needs investment. Aircon very old and did not work very well. Limited choice of food for a vegetarian. Friendly and helpful staff. Drinks were great. Convenient for the whale shark tours.

This was the perfect location for easy access to boat trips out to swim with the whale sharks. This was our sole reason for going to Donsol, and we weren't disappointed. It was a magical experience!

The hotel is incredibly dated and desperately needs a refresh. There were cupboards without doors, leaking taps and a missing smoke detector amongst other things. The worst part was the stained bedsheets which are unacceptable. I would not stay here again if I was paid. Surprisingly the food was good and fair price which is why it gained a star.

The place was good in the area though we weren’t able to see the whale shark due to the weather. It had a restaurant and pool in the vicinity. Staff were friendly and we were able to avail of the room massage. One thing for improvement perhaps will be the availability of the wifi in the rooms :)

The hotel personel was helpful and the hotel is close to the whaleshark tours. On the other hand, our room was not in good condition. Shower and sink were dirty and the toilet had trouble to flush. Also, you need to hire a tricycle to get to Donsol. The restaurant of the hotel had good food.

Annie in the office of this resort was very helpful and has a wealth of knowledge about the area and the Phillipines. I would definitely stay at this resort again. Breakfast omelettes were delicious!

Staff was friendly and helpful.

They have their own vegetable garden and you get to eat what is currently in season. A stones throw away from the start point for whale shark watching and also Whale shark adventures and tours, where you can do a number of various tours around the region. Would highly recommend.

Trevligt rum med fantastisk utsikt över havet. Vi borde där tre nätter och de städade inte rummet en enda gång... De tar bara kontanter för mat och utflykter.

Gut nur zu schlafen, Restaurant war gut. Pools ist ein plus.

My girlfriend and I had a nine-night stay. Some confusion with check-in. The impression from the Expedia website is a choice of 1) (Standard) Garden View, 2) Pool View, and 3) Panoramic Sea View. We booked the Panoramic Sea View. When we were shown to our ground level room, we were surprised that we were unable to see the sea but instead had a very nice view of the garden. A check back with the front desk and were told we could pay more and upgrade to a Sea View. Then, it came out they were “fully booked”. We spent four nights in the ground floor room and then we were moved to the room above which had a TV and a better view. We accepted the move. I cannot review the Panoramic Sea View room as I believe we never saw it. The room we ended up in was very nice. Perhaps the Expedia website needs to be better clarified. Nice restaurant with good food, bar, swimming pool. TV, hot shower, and air conditioning were fine. Friendly staff. Nearby dive shop.

bon hôtel sur la région de Donsol, situé à 150m d'un club de plongée et du centre de gestion des sorties d'observation du requiin baleine (butanding). Chambre standard sommairement meublée, clim bruyante, pas de véritables fenêtres afin de minimiser le bruit extérieur côté rue. Belle piscine, très bon restaurant, personnel très serviable

The resort is ideally placed to visit and organise whale shark trips. The staff are friendly and nice. The restaurant serves nice affordable food and the pool has great views of the bay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with good air con although we turned off at night as sea breeze kept temperatures down. We managed to borrow a kettle from reception so were able to make hot drinks. Shower was hot water so a bonus. A tricycle ride into Donsol town was around p80.

The toilets is not working always plugged, AC ,door , pool and the reception smell pee and poop of dog.

Sehr gute Lage zum Whale Shark Centre. Im Garten des Resorts wird Gemüse angebaut, welches frisch geerntet zu Speisen im Restaurant verarbeitet wird. Das Frühstück wie auch Abendessen war sehr schmackhaft. Die Anlage inkl. Pool ist hervorragend gepflegt und das Personal sehr freundlich. Nachdem uns das Zimmertürschloss nicht sicher genug erschien, wurde wir problemlos in ein anderes Zimmer verlegt. Die Zimmer mit großer Loggia sind sehr geräumig und die Duschschiebetür im eher kleinen Bad vermied, dass beim Duschen das ganze Bad unter Wasser gesetzt wurde.

L'hôtel est magnifique proche de la plage et des activités, le personnel était extrêmement sympathique et bienveillant. Je recommande 😁

Ich habe bisher noch keine solch schlechte Unterkunft gesehen. In meiner ersten Nacht wurde ich in einem Zimmer mit Bettwanzen untergebracht. Dieses wurde nach meiner Reklamation gewechselt und meine Wäsche gewaschen. In dem zweiten Zimmer war es weiterhin sehr schmutzig. Auf der Anrichte lag zb ein benutztes Wattestäbchen. Auch führte eine Ameisenstraße durch mein Zimmer (was ich persönlich gar nicht so schlimm finde, da dort eben viel Natur ist). Am zweiten Tag habe ich mir im Hotel Restaurant Pommes mit Ketchup und (wie ich leider nach ein paar Bissen feststellen musste) Würmern bestellt. Nach der Reklamation wurde mir der Preis für die Pommes zwar rückerstattet, leider ist dies jedoch mit dem Aufwand der dadurch erstanden ist (musste mir eine Wurmkur besorgen) nicht entschädigt. Insgesamt ist das Resort sehr schmutzig und alt/kaputt. Die Holzmöbel haben Löcher (in beiden Zimmern. An der Badezimmerdecke ist Schimmel... WiFi gab es in diesem Hotel keins, anders als in der Beschreibung angegeben.
