DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport

Staff so fantastic . Bed very comfortable . Room nice and clean . It’s an airport hotel so people coming and going all night . Try and get a room away from the lift /elevator

Mediocre at everything. Front desk made a deal out of “upgrading” me to the same level of room i had already reserved. Got to the room and called “careline” and front desk at least 6 times with no answer. Room service menu after 10pm was limited to 4 items. The curry I ordered was not available. Waited outside for airport shuttle. A bus labeled Premier Parking stopped for about two seconds and took off. Went inside to enquire if that was indeed the airport shuttle. It was. The Doubletree Airport was OK but could have been much better in almost every way.

Excellent hotel.

Convienent and clean. Very close to rental return and airport

There was some hair in the sink and some crumbs on the carpet that could have been easily vacuumed up. For that price, their standards of cleanliness should be held higher.

Over night stay before early flight. Checked in at 3 then spent a day in Edinburgh. Staff were very helpful and room was very nice and comfortable night sleep was had.

Nice place with bar and restaurant. Staff was friendly rooms were clean etc. Very close to the airport and rental car return. The shuttle to the airport could be more useful. The first driver just zoomed in, drove past my luggage that was sitting on the island and took off with the one customer who was waiting at the curb. Several more of us were inside waiting as per instructions from the reception desk. When we did get picked we were dropped off with a long walk to the check in area which was not very useful as we had to drag our bags about a hundred yards to get to the check in and it could have been farther if we were on a different airline.

It's your average airport Hotel

Comfy beds and pillows. Good sized twin beds. Tea/coffee making facilities. Hair dryer and iron. Well equipped room. Good sized room and shower room.

Clean

Stayed here the night before flying back home. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and had an excellent bed. I was completely satisfied with my stay.

Considering it is an airport hotel, the bed was nice, decent gym with free weights and treadmills. Only down-side was very slow late check-in with other passengers whose flights were cancelled. There were two staff that could have been helping but the second one only helped when the aircraft staff arrived.

One night stay before an early flight. The hotel shuttle was good and we connected to the tram into Edinburgh. The hotel was clean with very pleasant staff. We ate our evening meal there and were encouraged to make a reservation but the restaurant was not very crowded. We would stay there again.

Hotel was nice but the bed needed to be replaced

It was a lovely stay and the front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

We could walk from the car rental centre which was great.

It was handy for airport parking and the airport Bed was comfortable Restaurant was very busy so service slow - but good Very noisy - noisy children allowed by parents to run around, shrieking and shouting Menu for dinner ‘ok’. Both had fish and chips as not much else we fancied. Again ‘ok’ but had better.

The beds were very comfortable. The shower was nice, but the heater was broken, the TV was broken, the bathroom door didn’t shut properly and the toilet didn’t flush.
