Servicio muy muy amigable por parte de recepción: Carolina y Jonathan, gracias! El servicio de limpieza recordaban los detalles que les había pedido, gracias. Las habitaciones sencillas son ridículamente chicas, mejor pagar muy poco más y reservar dobles, mil veces mejor. Magnífica experiencia

La habitación

El acceso al edificio el sábado 13 no funcionaba, me puse en contacto con los responsables y nos dejaron más de 40 minutos en la calle. Al entrar en la habitación, no funcionaban la luz y las luces de emergencia se apagaron al cabo de un rato. Sigo sin tener respuesta a los mensajes enviados y alguna explicación de lo sucedido. Por lo demás todo bien, habitación limpia, ubicación buena e instalaciones en buen estado.

Confusing that the info on this site said spa open all hours but there was none when I arrived. Hope you update the info. Else the room was very nice for the price

For the price and the location, this hotel really can't be beat. It's situated on a busy street in the vibrant neighborhood of Malasaña next to lots of cool vintage shops and restaurants. My room was very small but clean and had plenty of amenities. The front desk people were very nice and went out of their way to greet me. I would definitely recommend learning some Spanish prior to your trip to Madrid though. It was a great place to practice speaking for me. I took a star off because of two things I think were mentioned in other reviews. There is a noisy techno club below the hotel that plays music until about 5-6am during the week. I slept through most of it but I hadn't really adjusted to the time difference so I woke up a few times. I also had a weird issue with the electricity in my room the night before the race I was running the next day. The power went out and this giant flood light in my room came on at 4am which woke me up and it didn't go back off until about 6am. I did reach out to the night staff but they couldn't do anything until the receptionist came in at 8. Issues aside, I would still stay here again but I might opt for one of the larger rooms next time.

Self check in worked OK. Room was fairly small but recently refurbished with modern shower/toilet area.

I really like that the building and room use a keypad for gaining entry. Very peaceful and felt like an apartment. Great place!

Habitaciones súper pequeñitas, los pasillos que dirigen a ellas son tétricos, se escuchan hasta los ronquidos del de al lado, la ubicación regular.

La cama era demasiado blanda pero la limpieza era increíble

It was a very pleasant stay. Communication was good and staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Room was kept clean to a high standard. The only reason I didn't give it full marks is the heating wasn't working very well so the room felt a bit chilly in the evening. Maybe provide a duvet in the winter. Otherwise, it is an excellent place to stay to explore Madrid. Very central to all the major attractions and close to the metro station as well. Malasaña is a fantastic neighborhood replete with bars and restaurants with a very hip and laid-back vibe. I will definitely stay at this hostel again when I return to Madrid.

Very convenient location and great staff

El hotel es adecuado para estancias cortas. Me pasó de encontrar una pequeña cucaracha muerta en el piso de la habitación, pero nada mas que eso. Si bien la habitación es chica, para una sola persona, el tamaño es correcto. La ubicación es excelente, transporte cerca, compras y gastronomía a un paso. No tienen el cartel de no molestar/limpiar habitación, por lo tanto las mucamas van golpeado las puertas consultando si se desea se limpie la habitación, lo cual puede ser molesto si uno esta descansando por ejemplo.

Great area for vintage shopping and such good places to eat around there, also very close to metro station had cool bars around too.
