The hotel is old, but nice. Staff are helpful. However, bathroom ventilation fan can be cleaned. And the room could be brighter.

Not price worthy as when there is a cruise coming, it raises its prices by 3 times ! The receptionists are not too friendly and helpful !

I booked a night here before my cruise and everything was swonderful. My room was large and clean. The pub had wonderful staff and I enjoyed having a pint of beer on their deck. I ate supper at Marco Pierre and enjoyed a wonderful buffet breakfast in the same area the next morning. The concierge here were outstanding! They are always visible, will store your luggage and even arrange taxi transfer to the cruise port. Very organized, and safe feeling - especially for a solo woman traveler.

This was booked for a night before the Take That concert. Although it was booked a very long time ago it was very expensive, £367. We expected a high standard hotel. The bedroom was large but on the shabby side as was the bathroom. The table was marked as was the dressing table. There was a well used looking Nepresso with only 1 pod of each of coffee so we both couldn't have decaf. The beds were very comfortable with 3 different types of firmness of pillow, which was appreciated The breakfast options were plentiful but the cooked breakfast items were only luke warm and there wasn't any gluten free bread available. Would I stay there again? Probably not as there are many hotels nearby that are a higher standard for less money.

Hotel staff and concierge were great. Breakfast was excellent for a buffet. The restaurant and pub seemed to have staffing problems and were not attentive. The facility is showing it's age, however. Still, it was convenient to the mall for shopping. A little to far to walk to the Horizon cruise terminal with any luggage, but the concierge hooked us up with a taxi.

Unfortunately the air conditioning was set at 19 degrees and guests are not given the option to adjust it. As a result the room was far too hot to sleep comfortably. Also the fire alarm went off twice on the first night so overall had no sleep for the 2 nights we were there. Room ok if a bit tired. Bathroom ok but shower head was covered in mould so not very appealing

Its a nice hotel generally. The staff are very slow.. like painfully at times! We were there for the take that concert and they were doing free welcome drinks etc and we had a bottle of wine in our room too. Although the fact they had put the prices of rooms up by over £200 a night, it's really the least that they could do!

Great place. We got of the cruise ship early, the hotel stored our luggage till our room was ready at 3:00 🕒 m check - in.

We got an earlier check in after upgrading our room and Emily on reception was so lovely. Really great hotel. Food was lovely ( ordered room service and was great service). Lots of choice for breakfast. The lovely older chap in the bar area (sorry didn’t get his name) was so nice to talk to too and all in all a great stay in a very friendly hitle

Great hotel to stay at prior to cruise. Located near pubs and restaurants. Easy taxi ride to cruise ship.

Very clean! Delicious breakfast with a wide variety. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Walking distance to restaurants and mall. Short ride ti cruise pier.

The room was dusty and the cupboard area is very dated and in poor condition. The bathroom was very poor - useless shower with no power to the spray, dirty grout on tiles. Generally poor maintenance and cou la d do with a complete refurbishment.

Property was a bit aged but close to the area shopping mall. Location is OK considering going onto a cruise then next day. Most disappointed is the breakfast. Cold, dry and no varieties. The option is the food court inside the mall with McDonald’s.
