I was greeted by Kelly who was absolutely fantastic professional kind, and funny. My room was immaculate as was the rest of the hotel and the view absolutely stunning. Thank you so much.

Great hotel and good views

Booked an economy room but was upgraded to a lovely seaview. Room was comfortable and clean, with a bath as requested. We took the option of no housekeeping and got a voucher for £5 off our bar tab. Given the prices we certainly needed this. £16 gor 2 x sanwiches and 2 x beers was a lot eems a little mean

The Hotel has a beautiful setting, a lovely atmosphere and is a wonderful building. The breakfast was amazing, the staff friendly and efficient for the breakfast and the setting gorgeous. It could so easily be amazing overall but on the downside, the building itself and interior is in need of a good amount of TLC and the customer service in areas other than breakfast, is a bit lacking, maybe due to being short-staffed. I will definitely return, but would love to see it returned to its former glory.

C lean room, friendly and helpful staff, excellent facilities

The room was very spacious and the view is stunning, however, the room was very cold and we couldn’t get the radiator to work, also, there was a nasty large stain in the carpet that needs attention. I had a wonderful treatment in the spa, my therapist was lovely, also, the lady on the spa reception on NYD morning was very nice. Breakfast was a let down, the pancakes weren’t cooked properly and the waffles were so overcooked they were like biscuits. I bought a bottle of wine from the bar that was £26 and was told there were no wine buckets, that was disappointing.

Room very clean and spacious, would have been nice if the bed had boon a little bigger though. Love the pool etc

Lovely friendly staff from the housekeeping team front of House and the bar the room was a little tired but for £50 I cannot complain thank you

Lovely sea views from most rooms, gorgeous traditional hotel with lovely breakfast.

The staff were lovely, but the quality of the hotel was awful. The deluxe room was as far from deluxe as I could imagine, black grouting, curtain that were too short for the windows, furniture that had pealing verniers, a mattress topper that was too small for old mattress, rusty towel rail, threadbare towels and cracks in the walls. The breakfast was poor quality and cold. Unclean, unloved and desperately underfunded. We should have realised when we arrived to letters missing from the name of the hotel. How this is four star is beyond me, I feel sorry for the staff, who were lovely.

The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The views from the breakfast room are spectacular - Poirot dined here! (The Majestic as written). The buffet breakfast was very good - the coffee gets cold quite quickly, so sup up! The room was spacious, well-appointed with good water pressure in the shower/bath (yes, there is one) Sadly, although there was a balcony, you were not permitted to access it which was a disappointment given the view.

The room was nice the bathroom was in need of updating but clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding soo much choice would highly recommend.
