Impressive old world historic beautiful hotel. Fairly close to train station. Cab dropped me off on main road but was closed door in back? Hum? Front door just 20 meters from that back door with sign? Hum?
Had lotta luggage and had to get up front steps.
Staff was great. Really nice room next to canal. Not the best suggestions on restaurants. Nice panoramic view from room 410.
Since we we next to canal basically back of hotel. WiFi was super slow.
Room was impressive inside.
Impressive buffet breakfast but only stayed there a day. Like the auto pancake maker!

很好.
唯一是辦理登記入住時,要等上了一小時,才可取房間.雖然職員給我們增了飲品,都是有些不滿.正當可以取房後發現給錯了房間.由於我們訂的是雙床房,她們給了我們king size bed 房間,我的伴侣極之不開心再到前台與她們理論後才安排雙床房給回我們.在這裏確有不開心的.
對於一間極吸引力的酒店,在這裏安排實在有的錯失,應加留意.因為客人在訂酒店時已指明是雙床房為何不能安排而導致錯失,需要改善.
酒店的運作應該是知道,每天入住的旅客是訂了什麼的房間,而作出安排.而不是隨便給了房間給旅客就算了。除非旅客沒有指明那種房間.才可接受的.

Good stay close to Amsterdam Centraal station. We were upgraded to a room with a canal view. Staff were helpful providing us with a baby cot and cutlery for our takeaways. It was a shame that the swimming pool was out of use. This was one of the main reasons for booking the hotel. The buffet breakfast is excellent!

This place needs a terrible upgrade and remodel. Why is it considered a 5 star property? I know every country has different standards, but if this is a 5 star property, what's the highest star a property can receive. It's so shabby. Dirty carpets. Maze-like hallways. Think the movie "The Shining". I wouldn't stay here again.

I love the place, but they don’t have a Turkish bath. I’m not sure the hotel knows what a Turkish bath is. They just have a pool, steam room, and sauna. It’s also not private at all, so be ok with sharing.

Definitely not worth the price. Room was tatty, uncomfortable beds and pillows, “climate control” was a joke. I will say the reception staff were helpful and location is good but at this price point I expect more in terms of comfort and condition of the rooms.

Ventilation system was broken for the first two days, last day it worked.
Staff will lie to you about it I suspect they are trying to save on electricity and they only turned it on after significant amount of complaints.
Pool and spa was also broken this building requires significant maintenance.

The staff cleaning the rooms are not up to par , They remove towels but don’t replace , tissues and paper not replaced , box s of hotel amenities empty(repair kit, shoe polish cloth). Same bed shears , and they were stained and put to be seen , not replaced . A full day to get towels brought to the room. Breakfast was ok and you had choice if you were early , after …The staff was polite .

Overall, the experience was good, but there were a few areas that could be improved.
The hotel itself has an older charm and was generally comfortable for our stay. However, the housekeeping service was inconsistent, and the cleaning staff did not always meet expectations.
Customer service was also somewhat frustrating at times. Whenever we needed assistance or requested something for our room, we often had to call the front desk multiple times before receiving a response.
That said, I want to give credit where it’s due. The gentleman who checked us in was excellent…friendly, professional, and very welcoming. He made a great first impression and was one of the highlights of our stay.
Overall, the hotel was acceptable, but improvements in housekeeping and responsiveness to guest requests would make a significant difference.

Very close to the central train station, this was a very walkable hub for our trip. It’s outside of the major touristy areas, so it’s still very quiet at night. The hotel features an indoor pool, sauna, hot tubs and steam rooms for guests. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. A great hotel for those staying in Amsterdam
