ibis Sydney Darling Harbour

Location is good. The hotel seems a bit "old" and some areas are not clean. The toilet cover was damaged. The thing worried me most was that I needed to request daily room cleaning services (it is not default), otherwise they would not come to clean the room.

Clean room, good amenities. Fresh milk always preferable than long life. Bottled water would be good as well.

Loved proximity of hotel to attractions etc. Also best breakfast!!! Staff friendly☺️

The rooms were in a very bad condition. The blinds were broken. The walls had dirt marks. The drains in the bathroom smelled bad all the time.

Clean room, a bit dusty in some areas. Good enough for one night stay. Enjoyed happy hour selection at the bar area.

Close to entertainment! Clean and tidy, however the shower head needs some TLC and the minu fridge was VERY noisy!!!

Clean, small room was good for an overnight stay.

Breakfast was semi cold. Not impressed for the cost. Could have had a better fried eggs on sourdough for similar money. The curtain was broken. The key did not workthe first time. The door lock would not open at first. The stuff was nice, byt there was noonr at the desk when i first came in. For some reason i got 3 different charges from ibis breafast (that one is correct), then some sort of fee and $6 for something car related ( i did not havecar). No idea what i paid $6 for.

Room was nice. Property was close to city centre and all the major attractions on walking distance.

The hotel was nice and modern with a bright lobby, we were welcomed with a warm smile. The room was nice and clean the bathroom was a little squishy but served its purpose perfectly fine. The buffet breakfast was a very nice with lots to choose from if booked the night before it’s only $25 all you can eat. Parking is a breeze at the Wilson’s harbour side parking station right next door and only $40 overnight. Only a short 5 minute walk to darling harbour. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your next stay in the city.

I recently stayed at Ibis Darling Harbour and unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience overall. The hotel is in quite poor condition—carpets are ripped in places, and both the rooms and bathrooms feel very worn and in need of maintenance and renovation. Service was also disappointing for the most part, as some staff members came across as unfriendly and unhelpful. However, I do want to acknowledge one staff member—a young woman at reception—who kindly assisted us in changing rooms. She was professional, approachable, and made an effort to improve our stay, which we really appreciated. That said, the general condition of the hotel and the inconsistent service made the stay far below expectations. I hope management takes steps to improve both the facilities and customer experience.
