ibis Sydney Darling Harbour

Noisy construction site across the road. Limited acoustic separation between rooms. Could hear conversation from inside adjacent rooms

Rooms so small and single beds were so hard and uncomfortable as well as the pillows didn't sleep well at all the whole time we stayed here. The only thing we would recommend is the buffet breakfast it was amazing although the staff at breakfast not helpful at all. Over all we wouldn't stay here again.

Check in and out was easy nice friendly staff. Dinner was lovely. Cocktails were a hit with the four of us. Loved the selection for buffet breakfast for $25 per head booked the night before. Was a good location for us. Would stay again.

Convenience and location is excellent, such a shame that the beautiful view that once was is no longer due to the construction work. Rooms could do with an upgrade though, tired and a bit run down especially in the bathroom in particular the tiling.

Reasonably priced for this popular area. Clean rooms. Outdated charging ports for electronics.

Great position for walking or light rail lot of construction going on around but overall would recommend this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Things to love: price, location, buffet breakfast pretty good Things not so great: room was pretty dated, staff were really slow, there was always a queue at reception which was really frustrating. But: you get what you pay for and the location being walking distance over the bridge to the CBD was amazing

The whole experience was excellent. Visiting a convention, the facilities were everything we needed. The staff were all very helpful and a pleasant feature of the experience. Peter, who was on the front desk in the afternoon/evening is a true asset and a big reason the Ibis gets such a good rating.

The Ibis is a great location near to the Convention Centre where I was attending an event. The rooms are well appointed with most things that I expect in a hotel room. The downstairs bar/food area was great for meeting friends after our event. For the price it was an easy place to stay and navigate around Sydney.

We found the rooms perfect for our stay. We were going to spend a short time in our rooms, so having a simple, smaller room was perfect.

While the hotel staff were consistently polite and helpful, the condition and maintenance of the room were unacceptable and significantly impacted my stay. Upon arrival, the bed sheets had visible stains, raising immediate concerns about cleanliness. The in-room refrigerator produced persistent loud noise, disrupting sleep on multiple nights. In addition, we experienced a complete loss of hot water for an entire day, which caused considerable inconvenience. The shower faucet also made loud and unpleasant noises during use, indicating poor maintenance. .

Good quality, affordable accommodation at Darling Harbour.

The only good things about this stay were Patty on reception (who was lovely to us) and the breakfast was satisfactory. Otherwise, the property was rundown, the room was unclean, blinds didn't block out outside lights at night, no amenities (such as a gym etc) and worst of all there was no hot water for a shower (which many other people were complaining about upon checkout). Would not recommend and would not stay here again, may as well stay at a backpackers hostel!
