Room waz very clean be it small but everything you needed. The owner couldnt do enough for you . Would recommend to anyone who wants a close place to all gabba city bus at door . EXCELLENT

I had no great expectations. It happened to be an exceptionally busy weekend, and most hotels were charging $1000 per night, so this one at $100 was definitely a bargain. The property was not impressive, being old and dilapidated. But the room was a surprise. Despite the rust and peeling paint, the room was very clean. The bed was super comfortable for my troubled back, the sheets were quality, and the one towel was large and thick. A bath mat would have helped, and given the many power points, a bedlamp would have been an easy attribute. For an old place, the AC was modern, and the shower fittings were clearly new and quality. I felt comfortable and safe, and I overlooked the scruffiness because of the money I was saving. I would choose this room again, because it was so clean

The cleaness of hotel is extremely poor. We just stay one night but we found at least four cockroach in the room! They appeared on the bed,wall and above the refrigerator! It is a terrible experience. I do not recommend this for anyone. The bathroom is also very small and the another worse thing is there is no hot waterfor bathing! I believe hot water and cleaness is basic requirement for hotel. The Cliff House really disappoint me.

The room and bathroom were nothing like the photos online.
Mould on the walls, no hotwater at the bathroom basin.
Very poor condition and unsure how it can be allowed to house guests.
Having travelled worldwide including 3rd world countries, it rates as one of the worst night's accommodation I've ever had

Do not stay here. Room was nothing like photos, there were at least 2 cockroaches and several other bugs. Carpets needed vacuumed. The reception was a box with a passcode. Tried messaging and did not get a response for 12 hours. Could not sleep in the room with the bugs and air not working. Parking lot was full and saw a resident take her cat litter box out to the shared trash can. This is more or less an apartment building with some nightly rented rooms.

I did not stay at this property despite having a booking. Upon entering the room, I found dead insects on the bed sheets and observed two cockroaches on the floor. Because of this, I decided not to check in.
There was no staff on site, and attempts to contact the manager by phone went to voicemail. I took photos and contacted Expedia immediately to request cancellation. I returned the key and left the room in the same condition.
Expedia attempted to contact the property but received no response. The following business day, the property stated that I had checked in and stayed overnight, which was not the case. I booked alternative accommodation that same night.
Based on cleanliness, lack of staff presence, and how the situation was handled, I would not recommend staying here.

I knew it wasn't the best as have stayed before, but this time I was scratched on my leg getting out of bed as there was a wire poking out of the mattress. The shower curtain was covered in mold which let's face it you can buy them for $10 so that's just laziness, one pillow was hardly even a pillow and they're not expensive, I've stayed in better $40 night caravans but these things should be part of the upkeep, you can even find good quality mattresses cheap these days there's no excuse.

This property should not be on the market. The regulators should shut it down for sanitary reasons. It's so dirty and stinky, I couldn't even touch anything in it and left immediately. The owners promised refund, by Expedia can't even get in touch with him. Very dodgy place. I can't belittle believe that such places even exist in Australia with all these rules and regulators.
