Hotel is too old and didn't have enough maintenance. Not so grand as expected. According to the interior condition, they seemed didn't concern the feeling of the customer. Won't not stay here again.

There is nothing like a first class hotel, and the Fairmount Chateau Laurier is one! Start to finish, top to bottom. Thanks to each and every member of the staff!

While all the staff were pleasant, helpful and dignified, the rooms of this elegant hotel left much to be desired. There is no humidifcation is the rooms. I woke in the morning feelng dried out, and when I blew my nose, it was bloody. Far from ideal in a cold climate. The biggest complaint is that the sheets and comforter are all synthetic, so I felt hot and roasted all night in my all-cotton pajamas, leaving me feeling not well rested in the morning. Synthetic sheets are less expensive than all cotton, and require less care after washing. Evidently, that was more important than the comfort of their guests. The pillows are also too thick for good neck support.

Everything was great

Beautiful property. Close to art gallery, arts centre, Byward market, parks, canal, and shopping. Everything is within walking distance. The staff were friendly and very helpful. A quiet hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. The history of the hotel is also very interesting.

Professional and friendly staff throughout the hotel. Charming and well appointed room and lounge. A gem.

Believe it or not The guys at the Valet were super friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel, close to all city amenities. Beautiful Christmas decor. Minor issues with toilet and valet but good stay overall. WiFi never worked in my room despite going to the main desk twice. Unfortunate when I was working.

Room fridge wasnt filled when we arrived and when we called room service for some food they ran out of PIZZA!!! Devastating news because its one of the reasons i went to the hotel besides its being beautiful.
