Wonderful stay. Your staff are all exceptional. We love being able to bring our dog, close proximity to downtown in the history and architecture of the hotel. You are a porter staff were extremely accommodating and our chamber made was lovely , friendly, and her room was perfect. See you again soon.

I found hair on the lid of a few drinks in the room fridge which was quite disgusting and unimpressive for a hotel of this calibre. Furthermore, someone walked into my room on Saturday morning by accident, which was a serious security concern and should be remedied by staff immediately. Other than these two experiences the room was in decent shape, I probably would not return though after this.

I was unable to attend my reservation and realized my mistake the following day and requested to reschedule for a week later due to an error I made when booking. Unfortunately, the room was non-refundable, and the manager declined to make any exceptions, despite our long-standing patronage at Château Laurier for over ten years. Hotels.com did their best to advocate for us, but the manager at the Chateau Laurier remained unyielding. It’s disappointing that Château Laurier has lost our loyalty over a relatively simple issue. Their unwillingness to communicate with me or respond to my emails, as well as their refusal to work with Hotels.com, reflects poorly on their management. They seem more inclined to lose dedicated customers than to consider rescheduling our stay by a week or two. It’s truly frustrating.

We gather with friends at le château for are Christmas dinner. We always choose Ottawa as are meeting point to celebrate Christmas between best friends. So we reserved are room, which I chose always, and reserved are dinner at Joey restaurant. It was a catastrophe,beginning with are registration and then it continued to are dinner night. I add reserved, and payed a bit more to have the room i choose at the beginning, they said it wasn’t ready, witch was ok with us, I told the gentleman that it was ok with us, as we were going to shop right away and told them to take care of my luggage, he said that it wasn’t necessary that I would give us another room, which I replied no thanks will wait and he said no, I change your room.then the restaurant, we add a bad service, to received are cocktails took 40 minutes, then were told that we could order what we wanted because some dish came from another kitchen.. and was not sure that we would have are meals at the same time as the other. Then we waited 30 minutes so that everyone added their entry at the same time, so mine was cold.. and for the meal we asked for there bread plate, that you pay and have to order, and waited till everyone was finished to have it.. I got up and started to ask other servers to help because are server was always out of reach. Are wine came at the table the bottle in middle of us I add to open it and serve it. For a hotel that before Covid I used to go every other weekend, it got bad.

Stayed here a week ago and came back for work. The king bed room although larger had a lack of bathroom space, tub was tiny in comparison to the room with the queen size bed. Everything here felt a bit dated and not kept up properly.
