The service at Zoe's was painfully slow. Having to wait 50 minutes to be served two cocktails was not reasonable. After noticing a couple, who arrived after we did, get theirs first prompted me to call on the waiter for a second time. He apologized and said he will make the drinks himself. As well...waiting almost a hour for valet parking at the end of our stay was not reasonable. This is a spectacular looking Chateau unfortunately service did not reflect the cost.

Had a fantastic 3 night stay in Ottawa. Perfect location for sites and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. Stayed over the holiday season and enjoyed all the Christmas decor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not our first stay at a Fairmont hotel and definitely not our last.

Our stay on New Year’s Eve 2025 at the beautiful Chateau Laurier was fabulous! The room was spotless and so gorgeous. We highly recommend getting a room with a view of the Parliament Buildings. All of the staff were so welcoming and attentive! We had a drink at the 1912 Bar and dinner at Zoe’s. Both were wonderful. We highly recommend a stay at the Chateau Laurier.

Considering what a stay costs at the Chateau Laurier, it’s nothing special. Valet parking is all that is offered and it took 45 minutes to have the car brought up when we checked out, resulting in cancellation of breakfast reservations. Somewhat disappointing. I will say the location is great and the view of Parliament almost made up for the other deficiencies.

We had a great stay at Fairmont Château Laurier. The location is excellent and makes it easy to get around the city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious with a super comfortable bed, and the amenities were great. Overall a really enjoyable stay and we’d happily return.
