I stayed for two nights as i was competing in the London marathon.
Never stayed in London before but couldn't have picked a better hotel and location.
The hotel is 2 minutes walk walk to the Excel centre where you have to go and collect your running pack to be able to compete.
It's also a 5 minutes walk to the skyline which takes you over the Thames and one at the other side just a 40 minutes walk and your at the start line.
The staff at the hotel couldn't have calmed my nerves any better, they were amazing and even giving free bunches of bananas to any runner staying there.
A big massive shout out goes to Soliman the evening /night door man, so kind and welcoming, such a kind and fantastic person.
I drove from Sheffield and the hotel couldn't have been easier to find with secure parking right underneath.
There is a sister hotel connected to the Ibis and you can share their resturant whilst looking out over the Docklands.
Would i stay there again, most definitely.

Amazing customer service, there were some really lovely petsonal touches in my as they knew I was running the marathon. Including a couple of bananas. Staff were incredibly polite and friendly.

5 stars to Stan 👍thanks to him We got a lovely bedroom with a sea view... Nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed our stay hopefully we'll be back soon

Really enjoyed my stay at the Ibis. Very glad of the ironing board, iron and hairdrier. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent transport links. Very near to LDR and Elizabeth Line. Would definitely stay here again.

Fab hotel for short term stay. Decent size room with a good sized shower. All amenities as expected, kettle, tea/coffee etc. Added bonus of a nespresso machine too. Perfect location for the O2. Definitely recommend the cable car to get across the river. Staff were all lovely as well. Will absolutely be booking again for our next concert experience.

Staff at reception were extremely helpful and one young lady in particular was fantastic although I didn’t get her name but she did say that she was about to take an exam. I really hope she passed it. She was friendly, professional and a very helpful.

Check in was quick and easy and given information about breakfast and how to get to hotel... beds are really uncomfortable so are the pillows. The breakfast wasn't great not much choice and replacements wasnt very quick. Cleaning up restaurant area was fast though.

Good value for money. Great transport links. It’s only a 5 minute walk from Custom House Station in one direction and another 5 minute walk to the cable cars that take you to the O2 arena. Rooms are clean and fairly spacious though the bathrooms are small.

We have often stayed here for a London weekend break - a reasonably priced, simple, no frills hotel less than 20 mins from the West End (on the Elizabeth Line).

Carpet and washroom tiles had stains, bath towels had holes in them and didnt feel clean, housekeeping didnt clear and replace my used mugs for my 4 nights stay.
Bedsheets were very old and rough. Will not recommend.
Breakfast area is very packed since 7am, the hotel serves large groups of day tour visitors.

This is quite a basic hotel, staff where friendly and helpful.
If you know Point A hotels, this is very simlar but with breakfast for double the price.

Check in staff was nice. While dealing with another guest issue, the reception made sure to visually connect and lwt mw know he'd be with me as soon as possible. Check in was fast, informative and very knowledgable.
Going to my room, the linen closet was open and in disarray..not exactly confidence building. I had to self-service for an iron.
The room was a let down. Small and in need of an upgrade, even the heater was minimally effective. The bed, bathroom and comfort were all lacking.
Needless to say, I'm not likely to book again.
