Take over 1 hour to check-in. We booked beach wing room, but no available room for us. I booked breakfast but they said the room excluded breakfast. Only water is free but you have to ask from front desk. Nothing drink in the lobby and in the room.

I had many issues with this resort. They did attend to all my issues. With that said I will never stay here again. I still can’t believe some of the things I witnessed. But they did try and make things right. The staff at the swim up bar were great. Also most of the staff throughout the resort were nice. Every floor they put me on the ice machines were broken. I had to literally go to another floor just for ice. One time a staff seen me at the ice machine and offered to go get me some ice and bring it to my room because that one was broken like the rest. This place needs a lot of upgrading and to be exterminated!!!!!!!! I won’t even post the pictures I took because I don’t want to freak anyone out. Just be mindful of this place. You have been warned!!!!

Mi esposo y yo celebramos nuestro 27 aniversario de bodas en este Hilton Caribe com su hermoso paisaje hacia la playa, rica comida y un lugar centrico en el Viejo San Juan. Excelente atencion al cliente muy cordiales. Y el lugar muy limpio. 100% recomendado. Un lugar muy relajante y sobretodo las palmas me encantan las palmas un lugar muy hermoso que hizo de nuestra estadía un lugar muy agradable. Muchas gracias y Dios los bendiga Puerto Rico!! 🇵🇷 ❤️ yo creo que volveremos.

Nice beach area private lots of things to do. Could use better eating options in the area

Be prepared to spend. Nothing is included here and you'll get minimal response from staff. Food comes extremely slow from the kitchen. Front desk phone remains unanswered when you call. Room service requires you to download a 3rd party app and create an account. Maintenance is desperately needed on much of this property. When you're spending $375+ a night and have stayed at many Hilton properties and enjoyed them, there are some expectations. Those expectations were not met. Room advertised on Expedia didn't match. View from the room was a rusted and charred vent with bird scat all over it. The concrete of the extremely small balcony was separating and the caulk work they did to mask it must have been 10 years ago. Breakfast is $34 a person, only to have liquids drip on you and your plate from the ceiling above the omelet station. The chef actually burned my omelet because he was so distracted by everything going on and he had to start over. Scrambled eggs were like rubber and bacon basically turned to dust when you touch it. We travel a lot, and this is the first time ever that I have notified a resort of a special occasion and nothing was done in the room. I contacted the resort in advance to let them know we were coming in for our anniversary and they said they had it down in the system. Apparently that means nothing here. When we stay at the Riu, or Hilton Whitehall, or in Vegas, that means something. Not worth the scratch. Won't be back.

Room view was on the beach, beautiful ocean front. The staff was friendly. It's an old building. My room was old and smelled old. The bed was not that comfortable.

In all honesty, the hotel was great. The staff was a little slow when an altercation happened at the hotel, but other than that, everything was perfect. The beds were made and cleaned every day after we left the room. The service was quick when we requested a crib. The bar service was a little slow, but the expectations were met. The beach views were beautiful, and having the beach located directly at the resort with swimming options for kids was a huge plus. Parking was not the best because it was sometimes full, and we had to find other parking options. Overall, the hotel was clean, relaxing, and enjoyable.
