Take over 1 hour to check-in. We booked beach wing room, but no available room for us. I booked breakfast but they said the room excluded breakfast. Only water is free but you have to ask from front desk. Nothing drink in the lobby and in the room.

Normal Check in process @ 10pm. The Room assigned - Damaged Air conditioning and TV (Colombia vs IBK playing in FIFA World Cup). Process of Room Change - nobody help to move our luggage.

My parents chose the Caribe Hilton to celebrate my father's 65th birthday, and unfortunately their experience was very disappointing. The room they received did not match the photos shown during booking and had a noticeable odor upon arrival. They were also surprised by additional amenity charges that were not clearly expected beforehand. For a hotel of this caliber, it was disappointing to find that even the mini fridge was empty and did not include basic complimentary items such as bottled water. What was most upsetting was the lack of customer service. My mother contacted the front desk hoping to arrange something special for my father's milestone birthday, but she felt the staff was dismissive and unwilling to assist. A special occasion that should have felt memorable instead felt overlooked. Additionally, one of the reasons they selected this hotel was because the booking indicated that breakfast was included. However, when they arrived, they were informed that breakfast was not part of their reservation, which added to the frustration and unexpected expenses. The property itself has a great reputation and location, which is why they were excited to stay there. Unfortunately, the room quality, unexpected charges, and lack of helpful customer service made this birthday trip far less enjoyable than anticipated.

There was a situation with water supply in fact for the breakfast buffet we were served with paper plates and paper cups and plastic utensils as there was no water to wash dishes. The staff thought made an effort to do their best but the situation with lack of water made it difficult for them to look good. Very sad a hotel with an impressive history and great location.

Location and beach access were fantastic. The island was experiencing water issues but the staff handled it fantastically. The only issue was cleanliness. There was a pretty sizable spill outside the elevator on our floor that was not cleaned up in our entire stay. Our room was in definite need of a deep clean, and the pools consistently had debris in them.

The only main complaint I have is the AC in my room wasn’t working, I called front desk once on Tuesday they came to fix it but still wasn’t working. The staff was all really nice the pools were nice the food was also good.

The room was not what I expected nor was the view, but overall the experience was great.

My experience at this hotel has been completely unacceptable. During my stay, hotel staff entered my room on multiple occasions despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being clearly displayed. This is a serious violation of guest privacy and completely undermines the trust that any hotel should provide. Even more concerning, a personal chain necklace went missing from my room during my stay. I cannot recommend a property where situations like this occur and where guests cannot feel confident about the safety of their belongings. When booking a hotel, people expect cleanliness, rest, privacy, and security. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite: repeated intrusions into my room, constant concern about my belongings, and an overall feeling of insecurity. If you value your privacy and the security of your personal items, I strongly suggest thinking twice before staying here.

Our stay at the Caribe Hilton was great! The staff were friendly and helpful, the only 2 things that I feel need improvement are the next: The bed: The bed was extremely hard, they are just cheap Sealy mattresses. If you have back and neck issues, or issues such as Fibromyalgia… you will be waking up sore and bruised daily. I feel for the price point, the mattress should be better quality, for a restful sleep experience. The pool facilities: they pool area could use better maintenance, you must be careful using the steel stairs to get in the pool because some of the steps are loose and you could easily fall and hurt yourself. Other than that, I would highly recommend the staff and ambiance are great. The views to the sea are amazing. Enjoy!
