Very clean, comfortable bed, air conditioning in bedroom which was very much appreciated when temperature was in mid thirties Requested ground floor room and request was granted I visit three/four times a year as I have family living near to the hotel which is very convenient for me

Great overnight stay. Grandson loved the pool. Very busy hotel but coped well. Just a but tired, but only to be expected for the money paid.

Rooms, hotel communal areas very clean and tidy. Evening meal was great although the breakfast for such a large hotel was a little disappointing. Would expect far more choice and the quality could be improved. Hotel was very relaxing and nice and quiet overnight! Will definitely return!

Friendly welcome - good accommodation & facilities

Bed amazing, large & comfy, grandkids loved the pool, breakfast very good, parked for 2 days whilst on cruise £10 a day, staff lovely & polite, overall couldn't fault our overnight stay.

Property in general is looking a bit tired and in need of some modernisation and updating, bathroom wasnt the cleanest unfortunately with stains at the bottom of the toilet, shower gel bottles just left randomly in the bathroom and the area around the sink not great either. That being said the sauna, pool area were very nice and clean, view was ok although some dining guests could see into my room which wasnt great but slept well and felt refreshed so as a whole not too bad at all

Lovely warm helpful welcome. Room spacious, clean with everything you would normally expect. Bed comfortable. Lots of parking. Small but pleasant swimming pool. The ladies toilet behind reception has stunning lily of valley tiles and nice floor tiles - I really hope they dont update these and instead turn this area into an art deco showcase! Some areas of the hotel look like they need a refresh, but they arent bad. The only negative for me was that cooked breakfast items were all lukewarm which was surprising at 8am. The rest of the breakfast offered good choices for most preferences.

Really poor stay. Countless issues that shouldn’t happening in a 4 star hotel. - breakfast poor, bad hygiene, had to ask for tables to be cleaned (as did many other guests) Ham & cheese served with same spoon (food standards issues) - room had to repeatedly ask to be cleaned, 2nd time just dropped towels didn’t service anything or take old towels. - spa - changing rooms gross, flies in all showers, steam room not working. These are just the highlights. Wouldn’t recommend, def not worth the money. Will not go again.

The staff were excellent! Emmanuel in the sports bar was a fantastic member of staff A credit to the hotel. The cleaning staff were fabulous too.

Only thing that let our stay down was the luke warm cooked buffet style breakfast. Cereal had second morning.

Reception staff were very welcoming, room was very clean, and breakfast was very nice. I didn't like the attitude of the women in the spa section, felt like they were talking down to me had a lot of ego and arrogance, not sure if it was a colour thing.

This was my second stay, the room was missing the usual shower cap and the bath shower gel bottle was empty, the guide button on the tv didnt work either. Carpet by the bed was Threadbare, breakfast i feel could be a bit better, only fried eggs out, maybe put scrambled too for people who want a more healthy choice, that said its such a peaceful hotel, didnt hear any noise and bed is super comfy!!

Easy to book online, reasonable prices. Staff welcome, check in easy. Food outlets in hotel available at different times. Good size room, comfortable bed. Parking area ample. Our only negative was our bathroom sink had a few old cracks (objects been dropped), not appealing

Good points: On arrival, there was plenty of parking in a pleasant setting. The reception staff were very friendly and provided clear directions to my room, the bars, and other facilities. The main reception area was well presented and gave a very promising first impression. Not so good: The room was clean and a good size, but it felt a little dated, particularly the bathroom. There was damage to the door, and some of the fittings looked tired. Bad points: When I went to use the pool and gym facilities, three members of staff at the spa desk simply told me to help myself to a towel from the large pile next to them and that the male changing rooms were through the double doors, which my room key should open. There was no guidance on what was connected to the changing rooms, where the gym was, or where any other facilities were located. In fact, a local spa member gave me better customer service than all three staff combined. The restaurant layout felt very impersonal, almost like a school dinner hall, with row after row of tables. Service was prompt — perhaps too prompt. I ordered sausage and mash, although it had a fancier name on the rather tatty menu. It felt as though the waiter took my order to the kitchen and returned almost immediately with the food. It was food, and I was hungry, but it was nothing to write home about. Summary: At around £130 per night, would I stay again? No.
