Nice staff, delicious breakfast. All is good if you can accept no parking space available there.

Staff very friendly at reception Classic traditional ‘cruise ship’ style as expected Impeccably clean Bathroom very dated, infitting with a ship, shower only and extremely heavy door dangerous when having children in the room with you. Couldnt prop bathroom door open and no working fan in the bathroom for stream. Reason for low score was complete lack of sleep due to room being uncomfortably warm the entire time. Staff attempted to assist by providing two fans however as window doesnt open this just circulated the warm air around. When speaking to reception they advised they had another room to move us to however said they knocked on our door at 11am to offer us it and as we didnt answer they gave it to someone else! Hard to believe anyone goes to London to stay in their room until 11am and wait to be offered another room plus they has our emails and phone numbers to try to contact us also but didnt attempt to. Breakfast was fine but really poor set up, long queues at hot drinks station and hot food just due to poor layout noone could access until person at front has completely moved out of the way. This could be fixed easily by the staff walking through the setup as guests do. Overall we were offered an upgrade on a return stay however lack of sleep ruined our weekend and due to that unfortunately we wouldnt return

Fantastic alternative hotel and well worth the location being a little way out of central London. Rooms very generous size, all areas of ship spotless, staff very pleasant. Food in bar was delicious. Only negative during entire stay was that the cooked breakfast buffet food was barely warm. Would definitely stay here again, fantastic place to stay

Breakfast was ok. Bit of a bun fight to get to the buffet. Fried eggs were rubbery. Service was good.

Good overall experience. Just a couple of downsides, the room we had was hot with the air conditioning not quite working well enough, room service was not very efficient. You had to use the hotel app but payments weren’t getting processed successfully and when I tried calling reception the phone just rings out with no answer. The hotel is quite busy so that’s maybe a reason. On the positive, the breakfast was good with decent options all round. The food at the restaurant was also quite nice. The general ambiance of the hotel is also very pleasant. I’ll stay again surely.

Staff were very welcoming. Room was clean and lovely. Bathroom a little dated, with some cracked/ chipped tiles but nothing that affected our stay. Great location for ExCel and perfect to relax in the deck on a sunny spring morning.

Hotel was immaculately clean and great location, easy to find. The room was great, clean and had a balcony with a great view. Room service was quick and the breakfast was great. I didn’t find the staff at all friendly, they were very blunt, no eye contact and not polite.

Hotel was lovely, reception staff helpful and welcoming, restaurant staff welcoming but service very slow as they only had one person behind the bar and the waiting staff are not engaging or equipped to serve. The outside area was left for a while before they cleared the tables. The breakfast was good and there is plenty of choice. The room was lovely and very spacious The hotel itself was lovely and would definitely recommend this hotel but just need to train the staff in the bar area

The sunborn hotel was clean, fresh and very welcoming, when entering the yacht it definitely had the wow factor.

Very nice and spacious rooms with amenities. Everything was perfect through the whole stay. I will stay again.

Stayed in executive room 4th floor with balcony. Spacious and clean with a very comfortable king size bed and sofa. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Nice range of tea and coffee facilities. Conveniently located for O2 using DLR two stop to Canning Town then jubilee line one stop. Lovely cooked breakfast available. Impressive interior with opulent central stair case. Would stay again.

Fabulous stay on the Sunborn. Large rooms, helpful staff and decent buffet breakfast! Good WiFi too! Easy to get in and out of more central London as so close to a tube stop. Highly recommend

Make sure you book the restaurant, it fills up fast. Although the bar has a nice view and also serves food.

Amenities good ,Wi-Fi was good Room lovely and clean had a, big room( Executive) with lovely balcony.

Second time of staying here. Brought friends to celebrate birthdays and an anniversary. Positives: room was clean, spacious and relaxing. Decor , good, Breakfast was extremely disappointing . Queued for over 15 minutes for food, food wasn’t hot so was unable to eat it once back at the table. Orange juice was warm and fruit available was alongside hot food hence warm and dried up. No cups and glasses available so had to ask. Unfortunately, some staff were rude. We did speak to the manager and he was very understanding and tried his best to accommodate people . First time I’ve seen a manager get his ‘hands dirty’ and help the staff. He clearly could see what a shambles it was.

A bit tired, lift didn’t work, no branded stationary or perks of a typical fancy hotel, WiFi was poor and a lot of noise in the bedroom from the entry. Not worth the cost.
