Ein wunderschönes altes Hotel in bester Lage. Zwei Kritikpunkte: mein Zimmer war ohne Möglichkeit das Fenster zu öffnen. Ausserdem, gegenüber vom Hotel ist ein Lokal, das an Freitag und Samstag offenbar Livemusik anbietet und das enorm laut. Als Frühaufsteher würde ich das Hotel daher leider am Wochenende meiden. Ansonsten habe ich mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

The breakfast buffet was great! Staff were very helpful whenever I asked for anything. The hotel was in a great location, easy to walk to the City Centre, and historic areas of Norwich. Also enjoyed a drink in the Maids Head Bar, which was a cute little place. We enjoyed our stay - thank you!

Room was fabulous and clean. Staff were helpful. Lack of accessible mirror with good lighting in the bathroom meant putting in contact lenses was impossible. Breakfast was disappointing. When taken to our table one of the saucers had drips of tea all over it and when collecting our food a few of the ‘clean’ plates were not clean. Food was nothing special, no better than Premier inn. To be fair we didn’t order off the separate menu. Attention to detail at breakfast was a bit lacking for a high caliber hotel.

Room was clean & comfortable and the staff were excellent, very friendly. Right in the heart of Tombland next to the cathedral, restaurants and a short walk to the castle & market.
Breakfast couldn’t be faulted and was plentiful & the hotel had its own private car park.
Definitely recommend.

Two nights at the Maids Head and w came away genuinely impressed — not an easy thing to say about hotels these days.
It's a classy operation. Historic building, beautifully maintained, sitting right in the heart of Norwich, but what really sets it apart is the service. Every single person I encountered — front desk, housekeeping, room service, the restaurant and bar teams — was exceptional. The standard was uniform, which tells you the culture runs deep. Picking out individuals would do the rest of them a disservice.
A standout moment: a complimentary ride in the hotel's Bentley. Entirely unexpected, beautifully judged, and exactly the kind of touch that turns a good stay into one you talk about afterwards.
Rooms have character, food is excellent, location is unbeatable. But it's the feel of the place — that quiet, confident hospitality — that I'll remember. Highly recommended.

They upgraded us to a fabulous suite but it was too big for us and we didn’t like it so they offered us a preferable smaller room with good grace and humour! Everyone was so lovely and helpful. Brilliant to have a private car park right in the middle of town. Didn’t try the restaurant but would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is located in the centre of Norwich next to the cathedral, everything is in walking distance.
Our suite was located on the top floor via a small spiral staircase, ok for us but anyone with mobility issues would find it difficult.
Bed and bathroom were comfortable with everything that we needed.
The breakfast was varied with a lot to choose from but things were running out towards the end of service one day.
The bar area was nice and service was great.
Overall no complaints.
