Ich war mit zwei Freundinnen in diesem Hotel. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung. Die Sauberkeit sowie die Freundlichkeit des Personals waren okay. Allerdings war die Umgebung leider sehr unangenehm – es waren viele Junkies in der Gegend, wodurch man sich nicht besonders wohlgefühlt hat.

An sich war das Hotel sehr gut. Das Frühstück war auch empfehlenswert, geh doch die Lage vom Hotel ist ein wenig schlecht. Außenrum vom Hotel ist es sehr heruntergekommen und es sind sehr viele Drogenabhängige auf den Straßen. Wir sind sehr viel im Taxi zum Hotel gefahren.

Clean room, friendly staff and in a great location.

Das Zimmer war schmutzig und es hat gestunken. Wir mussten darauf bestehen das Zimmer zu wechseln. Auch das zweite Zimmer war extrem abgewohnt und entspricht lediglich einem Stern.

It is not my habit to leave negative reviews, even when an experience is unpleasant. However, my stay at Novotel Athenes warrants an exception. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a Level 5 room with an “Acropolis view” and complimentary minibar for the entire stay — a benefit we are accustomed to as Accor Plus Gold members. Unfortunately, things started to go south on Day 2. When we returned to our room, the beds had been made and towels replaced, but the water bottles and minibar were not replenished. We assumed it was a simple housekeeping oversight. No big deal — we went downstairs to request a couple of bottles of water. The lady at the bar handed them to us rather reluctantly. On Day 3, the same issue occurred — no water and no minibar replenishment. Without water, even making tea becomes impossible. The hotel is located in an unpleasant neighbourhood, and walking 650 metres to the nearest supermarket just to buy water should not be necessary in a 4-star hotel. We went downstairs again to request water. This time, the bar staff’s body language and the comments she made to her colleague in Greek screams like we are some freeloaders asking for more than we were entitled to — problem is, we were not given any!

The key card didn’t work for the entirely of out stay. The internet didn’t work at all despite complaining several times. The tv in the room completely didn’t work. The breakfast in the

Very nice

Buona struttura nello standard Novotel. Camere non troppo grandi ma pulite e silenziose. Molto buona la qualità della colazione. La zona non è centralissima alle vie turistiche ma si raggiungono comunque a piedi in 25 minuti. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Room was supposed to be smoke free but it was not cleaning and was smelling of smoke.

Room was very small for 3 people (2 Adult + 14 years old child). No privacy in bathroom as glass door had no locks. 2 Paper cups were there with one bottle of water. No tissues in the room. Pillows were very poor quality so we had to change it very first night. Wi-Fi was extremely slow so we stopped using it. Location of the hotel is not good at all. We walked a couple of times from Monastiarky to hotel around 5pm and crossing omonia area was very scary. Beggars and anti social elements were everywhere. Vegetarian options were limited for the breakfast and dinner so we won't have dinner there. We booked this hotel thinking to view Acropolis from the rook top area, but it was locked. Staff were good but hotel wasn't. I will not recommend if anyone is booking with family.

The room is good and all the amenities. The staff was really kind.

The room was nice but I could still from the stains in the carpet and the walls, the room hadn’t been deep cleaned in a while. Hotel staff were nice and the breakfast buffet was fanstastic. The biggest con was the location. The location was under construction and I only felt safe walking during daytime on specific roads. If you took a wrong turn you could land in a sketchy poorly lit area.
