Overall a very good hotel in the historical center of the city.

I stayed at Hotel Punto for five nights — three with friends and two more after extending my stay — and overall, it was a really lovely experience. The hotel is in a great location: quite central, but not on an overcrowded or noisy street. The rooms are comfortable and well-kept, and the staff are incredibly friendly and thoughtful. One particularly nice touch was when the team left us a thank-you note and a little goodie box after the race weekend — a small gesture that really made an impression. However, on my last night, there was a small but unsettling incident. Due to what seemed to be an access key error, another group was mistakenly given a key that opened my room. This happened around midnight while I was staying alone, which was quite alarming. I contacted reception immediately, and they were quick to respond, apologized, and assured me it was an error that wouldn’t happen again. I should also mention that the room didn’t have a separate manual lock or latch inside — only the standard electronic lock on the handle that works with the key card. This made the situation feel a bit more concerning at the time. Aside from that isolated incident, everything else about my stay was excellent. If not for that, I’d have happily given Hotel Punto a full five stars.

La habitacion super limpia, moderna, la almuhadas super bien, en total todas las instalaciones muy modernas y cumplen los standares modernos de energia

Pésimo servicio del área de facturación. No emiten factura al momento de la estancia y ni a través de su correo electrónico, ni a través de WhatsApp atienden… groseramente me dijeron que no tienen la obligación de emitir factura hasta concluir el mes. Y que me quejara e hiciera lo que quisiera, que no me iban a facturar hasta que concluyera el mes. No entienden que por cuestiones personales uno requiere la factura al momento que uno paga el servicio.

El hotel esta muy centrico, y el zocalo y la calle madero esta pocas cuadras, muchos lugares para comer en el area cerca del hotel para todo bolsillo y preferencia. el hotel muy bonito, limpio y instalaciones comodas. Pero el servicio le falta mejorar. El checking era a las 3:00 pm y nos entregaron la habitación hasta las 5:45 pm y porque insistimos en ello. El restaurante los desayunos son decentes pero muy inpuntuales, El servicio dice que empieza a las 7 y llegamos pero no tenian preparada el area de comida. Como el bufet no tenia comida pedí algo del menú para poder comer algo, medio comí fruta y yogurt de lo que iban colocando mientras esperaba y me salio peor eran las 7:30 y nada. Tuve que preguntar al mesero, que personas que llegaron después ya les habían pasado su orden. El mesero me dijo “Que iba a preguntar”. Al final recibí la comida casi cerca a las 8. Tenia un tour a las 8:40 y casi no llegamos. Los precios del restaurante son muy altos para la cenas y no muy buena. Si me preguntan si regresaría? Mi respuesta es Si; la ubicación es muy buena y las instalaciones bonitas y limpiad pero no comeria ahi. Hay muchas opciones alrededor, incluso una taqueria a la par del Hotel, por decir uno.
