Porta is always my top choice of hotel when my wife and I visit Yogyakarta. It's simple: it truly feels like home. The staff is always friendly, we're always well-received, and what we love most is the room. It's spacious and simple, yet very aesthetic. The breakfast is always satisfying, with a wide variety of delicious food choices. The Havene restaurant is also great, with delicious menus. We'll definitely be back here for our next trip. In fact, it's going to be soon in another three weeks. Even though it's listed as a 3-star hotel, it feels like a 4- or 5-star experience. Good job, Porta!

Very memorable stay here. Locate strategies near malls and close to everywhere. Fast room service. The staff is very friendly, especially Mrs Rani who is very kind 😊🙏. Prices are also affordable. Breakfast was also delicious with lots of variety of food. Really recommend staying here, if you're on holiday in Jogja. Next Time on holiday to Jogja, definitely stay here again

The staff is very friendly, because when we arrived it was still early in the morning we could leave our things first, basically staying here is highly recommended, it is very close to the city center, the view is also very good, when booking we requested a double bed and actually got a double, the best hotel.

I'm at the asr member stayed here for 2 days. The front office lady Viola and Mila were very helpful they allowed me early check in and the best possible option when my room with merapi view that has been requested is not available, yet they upgrade me to better room which is more spacious and has a bathtub and include breakfast for 2. And staffs are very attentive, they frequently checked on every table if there is any dirty dishes need to be cleared up. And kitchen staff also great, they kept refilling the items in a timely manner.

Very friendly and helpful during the late check-in, which was really at 12 midnight. The room was always clean and tidy every morning. The hallway window was also always opened every morning so the morning air could come in. The receptionist was very helpful with any requests from guests. Overall, a great experience. When I wanted to book, I first checked the walk-in rate at the hotel... eh, it turned out to be cheaper on the app. Finally, I bought 2 rooms and 2 nights. I asked for a room with a beautiful view... and praise God, I got a room with a very beautiful view of Merapi (plus Merbabu peeking a bit) and coincidentally the first day I stayed, the weather was very pleasant and Merapi was clearly visible. The sunset was also very beautiful from my room. The staff was friendly... when I wanted to show the room, they showed me and explained it well. The room is quite friendly for elderly people like my 75-year-old mother. Next time, I will definitely stay there again.

The staff were super friendly. I requested a late check-in (around 2 AM), and the receptionist helped with it. The room was super clean and comfortable. It was quite a deal to get such a room with such a price.

Overall, it was the best budget hotel for couples or families with one child. The staff were helpful, from the receptionist to the facility keeper. I would recommend staying here on your first day of the trip, so you can enjoy strolling from the hotel to the Tugu and Malioboro Street.

I had an amazing stay here. The location was strategic with very near a lot of food places, including a handful of 24-hour ones. The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfy and mad love for the pillow menu—you'd get to choose your preferred pillow type! The staff was friendly and helpful too. I'd highly recommend staying here!
