Kamar luas banget, ada ruang tamunya dan semua sesuai ekspektasi. View dari kamar ke Darling Harbour juga keren. Kalau ke Sydney bakal nginap di Shangri-La lagi.

Clean, spacious room with huge bathroom. (Stayed in an Executive Opera House City 2 Double Beds (High Floor)). Short walk to many restaurants, bars and coffee shops. (Note: Walking up and down Essex St could be challenging for someone with mobility issues as it’s quite steep.)

It was good but would have expected better. Firstly there was a problem seemingly caused by Expedia - we had booked for 2 adults and 1 child in a single room. But the Expedia confirmation only said 2 adults. Confusing and ended up resolving it at the hotel without too much hassle. Good service tbh. Acoustic separation between rooms was a problem. All nights we were there we were disturbed by our neighbour the other side of the locked interconnect door. 2 different neighbours (one very shouty person, one crying baby) Breakfast was very comprehensive in terms of plenty of options but all bad. Toast was good. Fruit was tasteless. Coffee mediocre. Omelette cooked to order was undercooked and inedible. Cooked breakfast was OK but much like you might expect at a more budget hotel - stuff sitting in metal containers for ages. Bed was really comfortable, the shower was excellent and the room clean which honestly are the main requirements of a hotel. So on the absolute basics it did really well.

Had a great stay. The room, the facilities and the staff were excellent. The breakfast buffet was so good with so much to choose from. Scott at reception looked after us booking in and even organised a cake for my partners birthday. He was very kind and made us feel very welcome. The view from the room of Sydney Harbour was amazing and was so close to everything in Sydney.

The reception is pure chaos with 50+ people in there most of the time. There are almost always people sleeping in the coffee shop and then because it’s not maximalist enough, there’s an art gallery with a million different works on display. The rooms are large, but look very tired and dated. The breakfast was standard fare but very expensive. On the bright side the amenities are good and in room dining was good.

The hotel is great and stratigically located. I had an incredible view of the opera house and bridge from my room. The staff is very attentive. Awesome service at the spa. The inly negative would be the pool and whirldpool area. They only have a out 10 lounge chairs so its difficult to find a spot. The whole area is very small and unappealing for a hotel like this. Not to mention that there were like 15 childrend running, jumping and screaming around. Felt more like one of those all inclusive resorts than a 5 star hotel.
