The room was in great condition upon arrival, and we loved the stunning views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. However, getting the room serviced was a challenge. Despite asking multiple times during our five-night stay, we were only able to get fresh towels once.

The building is looking quite tired. I paid extra for better views of our 2 rooms of the bridge and we couldn’t even see the bridge in one of the rooms. Breakfast wasn’t included. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

A comfortable stay but nothing impressive for a five-star hotel. I communicated prior to the stay with some questions & did not receive a response. Decor is dated now (it was the same 26 years ago on our first stay). Room amenities like tea, tissue etc were not stocked well & needed replenishing. There was a non-working powerpoint near the bed which was inconvenient for phone charging. However the room was clean and comfortable, & the lounge area downstairs was a lovely place to sit for refreshments.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Shangri- La, wonderful staff, all very helpful and service was prompt. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, really clean, everything you need at your fingertips. The Horizon Lounge was a highlight along with the food and views! Can’t beat the views .. perfect. Will definitely be back.

Hi Team Shangri-La, We had a fantastic day and a very enjoyable stay. From arrival, the experience was excellent. Concierge greeted us straight from our Uber and assisted with our bags, and check-in was handled brilliantly. We were able to check in early, and our luggage was already in the room before we arrived, which was greatly appreciated. We stayed in Room 2612, and the harbour views were absolutely lovely. We also spoke with in-room dining. There was a small hiccup with one snack, however the bill was quickly adjusted to reflect this. Everything else we ordered was quite good, and the matter was handled promptly and professionally. Overall, it was a really positive experience and a credit to your team. Please pass on our thanks.
