I Brought my daughter here for the Ariana Grande concert. Checked into the hotel late at night no issues. Everything was perfect. Room was very clean and modern. We were lucky enough to get a room on the 27th floor which had a beautiful view. We were able to watch the fireworks from our window. My daughter ended up getting sick and the staff at the front desk were absolutely amazing and so helpful! I would most definitely recommend this hotel. Unfortunately, we never got an opportunity to check out the pool, but it was convenient to have the grocery store and the Starbucks right in the lobby at the hotel! Thank you for making our visit perfect and special!!

We had a great stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly, from the reception to the cleaning ladies. Great breakfast, a lot of choice. Our room was at the back of the hotel, not overlooking the park so we had no noise issues (which some other guests had mentioned).

The hotel in itself is great!! Lovely, modern and clean. We had a great room, very clean with a nice bathroom. Although, I would have loved a magnifying mirror to do ones make-up, but not a big deal. We had a great view from our room on the 26th floor. The staff were polite enough...although a little aloof, and rarely smiled :( except for the lovely lady who worked behind the bar, she was very professional and sweet. The area around the hotel is very dodgy, homeless peple everywhere, some screaming, some vomiting, some using needles. Although police presence is high around that area, I did not feel safe walking around, especially at night.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared, with a great variety of options to choose from. The quality of the food really exceeded my expectations, and it was the perfect way to start each morning. The staff kept everything well-stocked and were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. If you’re planning on staying here, I highly recommend taking advantage of the breakfast—it’s definitely worth it and one of the highlights of the stay. I would absolutely look forward to enjoying it again on my next visit!

The shower, floors and windows in our room requires a good cleaning. Location is convenient to popular tourist areas. The hotel is next to a park that has summer concerts in the evenings, which can be a hit or miss for some.

The room was nice and clean, but the open sofa (which is usually full or queen size) was to small and uncomfortable. They switch us to 2 queen size bed room. The walls of the rooms are not insulated well so you hear outside noise, your next neighbor ,people on the hall way. All employees at hotel were extremely helpful and nice, always willing to help you .Brerakfast was nice, fresh buffet style with lots of options. I will come back just tried to get room as high as is possible to not hear outside noise.

I would never stay at Hyatt Place Montréal–Downtown again. After losing my credit card, I called ahead to ask about payment options. One employee told me my friend could use her credit card for the security deposit and that I could pay the room bill with debit. Another employee later said debit was not accepted at all. The staff gave completely contradictory information during an already stressful situation. My friend agreed to provide her credit card for the deposit only and specifically asked how much would be charged. Despite that, the hotel charged her card for the entire stay without clearly explaining this beforehand. Even more concerning, nobody asked to see my government-issued photo ID when checking me into a reservation under my name. That made me seriously question the hotel’s security procedures. We were also placed directly beside the elevator, one of the loudest locations in the hotel, despite travelling with a baby and a small dog. The constant elevator and hallway noise made it extremely difficult to settle the baby. The room also had virtually no effective temperature control. Regardless of what we set the thermostat to, the room temperature did not respond properly, making the stay uncomfortable. Late at night, my husband was also approached inside the hotel by multiple women who appeared to be soliciting him. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and added to the impression that the hotel was not an appropriate or secure environment for a family.

The hotel is in an excellent location for seeing downtown quickly AND having access to trains and the Metro (just outside the front door). The staff was exceptionally friendly and always began their introduction with Bonjoir/Hello so you knew they can talk with you in either language. The hotel is very clean, my room was spotless and well made, and everything from the iron to the shower to the mini-fridge worked well. I don't know about parking... I used public transportation for everything- even to/from the airport. (which is easy, and inexpensive, using the 747 Bus and Green Line Metro) One of my best hotel stays anywhere.

My stay had a few issues that I hope can be improved. The sauna wasn’t operational, and there were no staff around to help. The breakfast area becomes overcrowded between 8–9am, with not enough tables or chairs despite the longer breakfast hours. Upon entering my room, I also noticed the body gel hadn’t been replenished. With some attention to these details, the experience could be much better.
