I stayed for 3 nights and it was amazing. I arrived a few hours before check-in time. One of the reception staff informed me that my room wasn’t ready but a couple rooms were available next to the elevators if I wanted to take one. I declined and waited for my room on the 24th floor. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised it had Nespresso coffee pods and coffee maker, which I prefer. The hotel is next to the Metro which is easily accessible from outside or through the building. And the best part, there’s an IGA grocery store for anything that you need or forgot to bring. And just steps away there is a Jean Coutu pharmacy and a food court and some shops in building at street level. And, of course, Starbucks on the ground level. What else can you ask for? I especially enjoyed the pool area, the gym, and the Sauna. The best dry sauna I have ever used in a hotel. Oh, by the way, parking can be expensive and mind your head. Very tight and low ceiling height and won’t fit your Large SUV or truck. I know it’s no big deal but I was disappointed this Hyatt didn’t offer the KinetMd lotion like the Hyatt place in Chicago. Love this lotion. I asked the housekeeping staff and she came back with a couple generic trial sizes. But it’s alll good. She was really nice and I appreciate the effort. All the staff were nice and friendly. Good and cheap breakfast, lots of options. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is good and as expected for this category. room was modern, got a high floor so views were really good. Breakfast was extra charge, I would expected to be included at this price though, but it was very good with lots of options to choose from, although VERY CROWDED and long lines with not enough tables/chairs. For the NOT SO GOOD, Parking lot has a very serious HEIGHT RESTRICTION, be aware, I'm 6'4" (1.94m) and had to dodge some of the piping in the underground parking. For Motorcycle travelers is really good, but be aware even though is underground covered its not privately use by the hotel, as a small shopping mall is connected to it. Also ... had to use 2 different elevated 1 of which is not located inside the hotel since the luggage carts WOULD NOT fit on the underground parking lot. .... really ? so if you have lots of luggage be ready to either do multiple trips or walk extra outside of the hotel to use another elevator.

Tout était parfait : l’emplacement, la propreté et l’accueil étaient irréprochables. En revanche, deux petits points ont un peu gâché notre séjour. Nous étions une famille de quatre personnes, réparties dans deux chambres. La première, située à côté de l’ascenseur, était malheureusement très bruyante à cause des allées et venues de celui-ci. La seconde était une chambre communicante avec celle des voisins. Bien que la porte soit fermée des deux côtés, l’isolation phonique était insuffisante et nous entendions clairement la télévision de la chambre voisine, ce qui a perturbé notre sommeil. Nous aurions apprécié que les deux chambres communicantes nous soient attribuées. Cela nous aurait permis de rester proches les uns des autres tout en évitant les nuisances sonores provenant d’autres occupants.

The A/C was not working , was 26 Celcius in the room, took them half a day to send a technician who said "just keep your curtains shut", offered to bring a fan, eventually relocated us into a different room, which at first they said wasn't available. My friends stayed in other room - it smelled moldy, they also moved to other room which was hot. What a chaos! Wasted a lot of our time and nerves! Also the filter was dead at the water filter in the gym, and water wasn't running - and no one cared to change it. The breakfast was reasonable for a chain hotel.

This hotel was in a good location - easy to walk to the Jazz Festival and also easy to get to Old Montreal. Very close to a Metro station with 3 train lines. The staff was attentive. The room was big. Our city view was great. Breakfast was adequate (not bad, but nothing special either). The pool was nice, but pretty crowded with kids every time we looked. I would return here.

I had a very disappointing stay at Hyatt Hotel Downtown Montreal. The air conditioning in my room wasn’t working, and the room temperature reached 25.5°C, making it extremely uncomfortable. I escalated the issue to reception staff Doula and specifically asked if a portable air conditioner could be provided. She agreed, but instead, they sent a basic fan. Later they said they do not have portable AC's. That felt misleading. To make matters worse, the fridge in the room wasn’t working either. It’s hard to understand how management can rent out a room without knowing that basic amenities like the refrigerator are defective. The bath tub had severe drainage issues and water just stood still there. What disappointed me the most was the complete lack of accountability. Night shift Manager Francois straight away said "you can move out and go to another hotel" at 11:00 pm. At the time of taking my car out of the parking, the parking pass just won't scan. Went to the reception who confirmed that the pass was active, came back and nothing. Went again to the reception who said they double checked the pass is active, returned to the car and again the pass won't scan. There was no genuine apology, no effort to make things right, and no compensation for the inconvenience. Overall, the service was poor, the room maintenance was unacceptable, and the management’s response was disappointing. I expected much better from a Hyatt property.

The hotel was wonderful. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean and spacious. My only complaint is about the parking. The hotel charges $30@ night, and it’s added to your bill at check in. And You have in/out parking. However the garage is very small and parking for the hotel is very limited and you are not guaranteed a space when you go out and return. This means you have to find a space on the street. And street parking is very limited as well. If you do get a space in the garage you should leave your car there until you check out. Getting a cab for getting around in the city for is much easier.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Our double room was clean, large and had a great city view. Gym good. Pool good for kids (we didnt use it). Everything at this hotel was basic and clean. Location was good, walkable to Eaton centre, Old Montreal, the Plateau, Parc Fontaine etc... central located. Only minus was there's a bit of sketchy but we were not bothered. Easy underground walkway through the mini mall to the Metro Berri UQUAM.
