This is our third year going to the Melia. The rooms are very accommodating. Shampoo, conditioner, and body washes provided. The staff are beyond wonderful. They greet you and always make sure you have what you need. There’s plenty of food nicely displayed in the main restaurant and the other two places service is amazing. The guys at the bar are always fun and make sure that whatever drink you want they can make it. Pool areas is always kept spotless. There’s some sort of entertainment nightly and although I don’t have kids, they have a kid activity room and space available for them to have fun outdoors as well. (playground, croquet, badminton, etc..). The Melia has now become our annual trip.

Beach was beautiful. There were a couple of sargassum days but they worked really hard to keep it clear. Staff was nice, especially in the buffet restaurant. Those servers were on top of it. Food was subpar, two restaurants that were alacart were either closed or hard to get a reservation even with the upgraded room. Room was very outdated, but it is an island so some leniency probably needed for construction limitations. Pool was also not great as in the adult pool most of the pool was too deep to stand. We would 100% go to Cozumel again, but not this resort.

We enjoyed our stay here. We did the upgrade to Level and felt it was worth the price. It is a quieter resort; not much night life, so relaxing. Waitress staff minimal around the pool and lobby. Wait staff at restaurants was always great. Food was all very good due to the small nature of the resort; everything was always hot and flavorful. We enjoyed the food truck by the pool. Bali beds around the pool & beach are nice. All rooms are spacious and ocean view-stocked daily with . We liked that the room key is your wrist band. Our concierge Gerardo was awesome! The foam party at the beach was fun even for young adults. The sunset cocktail party was nice. We felt the Mole restaurant could be turned into a steak house since there were so many similar Mexican food options already. Shout outs to Lupe, Anna and Freddy at the buffet; Edi & Daniel at the beach bar, Erik & Santiago at pool bar.

It was the most discriminative environment I have ever been in. We were watched continuously for what I believe to be from our color. They frowned at us and whispered continuously. After being monitored for so long, we started to document the experience and have a bit of tangible evidence of the injustices. We paid for the v.i.p rooms and experience and it didn’t feel like it at all. It seems as if because of the language barrier that after we asked a question, they attempted once to answer and then would either walk off or just have an awkward silence until we came up with a solution ourselves. The security at one point followed us and asked “do you belong here?” We watched as other guests enjoyed the luxurious experience we should have had, even the ones who didn’t pay for v.i.p. The food was not good at all. We stayed for 7 days and 6 nights and for the first 4 days the water on the shore was filthy. On the 5th day they filtered the water and you could literally hear the people rejoicing. This was my first time out of the country and it was a terrible experience. One day as we entered the hotel from going downtown, one of the workers got on his small walkie talkie and uttered some words as he looked at us and then hurriedly turned his head, we went up the elevator which is in terrible condition btw and got to our room to ironically discover that the keypad to our room went out. The stay at this place was not welcoming and it feels as if people of color aren’t wanted.

The room and the staff and the food and the location were absolutely wonderful. I was a bit put off by the all inclusive emphasis including snorkel gear, kayaks etc but then after an hour you had to pay $10 or more. In the spa I got an absolutely fantastic massage but I had booked a massage and a facial and I wrote that down on the form I filled out. Small discrepancies for sure. Overall we loved it

This is our first time going to an all inclusive and to Mexico so we have nothing to judge off of but we had a great time. The resort was a bit outdated but was very clean. The staff were super nice, helpful and wanted to make our experience wonderful. The food was good. we found items at each dinner that were delicious. They have different themes for each evening. We ate breakfast and dinner at the buffet. Tons of options that we could get a filling meal and be able to try new food and still have basic options if we wanted. We didn’t go to the 2 restaurants just because having a set time didn’t work out for when we were hungry or not The beach was great the last day and half. The water was brown from the sargassum so we ventured down to the other side of the barrier and swam there. the workers did a wonderful job keeping the beach clean though. No build up and no smell For the price point and overall experience we would definitely stay here again We also used Fantasy travel for airport shuttle which you could book ahead of time with all your flight info and they set the times. 10 minute drive from airport to the resort

Very clean room and AC in the rooms were cool. The AC in the buffet and lobby was mixed but overall good. Specific staff shoutout to Guadalupe, Lupe, and Angela from the buffet. They were FANTASTIC and very attentive during the time we stayed. The next staff on the property by far!

Took my wife, 2 year old daughter and mother in law. Had adjoining rooms, perfect set up to let us come in and out of baby was asleep in ext room over and not make noise to wake her. We absolutely loved it. If you’re looking for the party vibe, crowd, spring break- this ain’t it. Very chill, relax setting, amazing service, clean grounds, beautiful sandy beach. We upgraded to the level service( do it), great food!!! Plan to come back ASAP Concierge Gerardo was on top of it ! Clear communication, eager to assist in any way he could. All the servers were fantastic, our regular became Guadalupe, sweet lady, consistent attention made sure we were set. Amazing place

The room was cleaned, towel stocked,tp and Kleenex. Water and coffee (I even contacted concierge about more coffee Pods… Same day).. very helpful With reservations for restaurants And cabanas. Not One person acted like they didn’t want to help. All Had smiles and cheerful dispositions. Bartenders knew mixed drinks and helped with selection! Yum! Food at The buffet was surprisingly consistently good! One point is the restaurants were good but not great. Service was over the top but the food was mediocre.
