Spend a day exploring the cultural villages of Bali, starting at Batubulan, known for its stone carving skills, then witness the struggle between good and evil as expressed through the Barong dance, and continue on to the woodcarving village of Mas. Visit the 11th century Elephant Cave, and head to the mountains of Kintamani for picturesque views of Mount Batur and the beautiful Lake Batur at its foot. After lunch, stop by the Holy Springs, and explore Ubud and Celuk.
