Prambanan Temple
Prambanan Temple is the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located approximately 17 km from the center of Yogyakarta, this temple was built in the 9th century and is dedicated to the Trimurti—the three main deities in Hinduism: Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the preserver), and Shiva (the destroyer). The complex consists of magnificent main temples with towering architecture and epic reliefs that tell the story of the Ramayana.
