About Chinatown Heritage Centre

The Chinatown Heritage Centre is a gatekeeper of the area's history, tracing the footsteps of Singapore's early pioneers, while sharing the personal stories of the people who made Chinatown their home. Located within three beautifully-restored shophouses on Pagoda Street, the Chinatown Heritage Centre is the only place in Singapore that you'll find a 1950s recreation of the original interiors of its shophouse tenants, offering a rare glimpse into the lives of Chinatown's early residents.

Very authentic set up and attention to details of the 8x8 cubicles depicting how the people used to live in the cramped spaces back then. The audio guide is also useful.
