Infant Passenger Policy (0 - 2 Years)

• Infants are recommended to use a child restraint device on board and are not recommended to be carried.
• Infants under 2 years of age must occupy a seat with a properly installed safety harness and restraint device.
• Only approved infant safety devices are permitted to be used on board (for details please refer to Air Canada's official website).
• Passengers 16 years old and above are not allowed to be responsible for more than 1 infant on board.

Child Passenger Policy

• Children under 14 years old are seated next to accompanying family members free of charge (not applicable if the family chooses to pay the seat selection fee in advance).
• Children under 8 years old are not allowed to fly alone and must be accompanied by a companion sitting next to them.
• Signature class child passengers must contact reservations to ensure a seat.

Policy for Passengers with Pets

• Small dogs and cats are allowed in the cabin that can sit or lie under the seat.
• A carrier bag must be provided for the pet and must be sufficient to ensure the pet can stand up (if the carrier bag is too small it may be refused)
• Only one cat or one dog can be carried and must be at least 10 weeks old.
