The stewards and flight attendants of Austrian Airlines wear uniforms with theme colors of red, white, and black. The flight attendants have two types of uniforms: red overalls and a combination of white shirt and red knee-length skirt. As for the stewards, the uniform is a white shirt with a red suit, and black trousers.
There are also times when stewards remove their suits and wear only a white shirt with a red vest and black trousers. This uniform design makes it easier for the crew to move around and the colors represent the Austrian flag. The gray scarf around the neck also makes the stewards and flight attendants look more elegant.

Austrian Airways actually dates back to 1923. However, it only became an aviation company operating as an airline in 1957 when the Air Austrian and Austrian Airways companies were merged. Since then, the airline has continued to grow and provide flight services.
From the 1960s to the early 1990s, the airline continued to expand its fleet. Starting from the purchase of the first jet-engined aircraft in 1963 to the use of products from flagship aircraft manufacturers, such as Boeing and Airbus. After that, the airline continued to renew its fleet by bringing in various types of aircraft. The latest is the Boeing 787-9 which was received in early 2024.
