Flight attendants and stewards wear different uniforms. For flight attendants, the uniform is dark aquamarine blue with a white inner shirt. Accessories include a scarf and a light brown hat. The flight attendant uniform has two types, namely skirt bottoms and pants. For flight attendants, a set of dark gray suits with a white inner shirt is complemented by an elegant metallic blue tie. In addition to the color, the fabric used also goes through a rigorous selection process to make it comfortable to work in various seasons. This design is the new design of the Uzbeksitan Airways crew launched on February 14, 2020.

Passenger Policy

Infant Passenger Policy (0 - 2 Years)

Infants less than 2 years old do not need to reserve a seat. Infants can be carried on the lap of an adult passenger.
For domestic flights, infants less than 2 years old do not need to pay as long as they remain on the lap of an adult passenger during the flight.

Child Passenger Policy

Children between 5-14 years old can travel with Uzbekistan Airways without parental assistance for domestic flights.
The child's parents must contact Uzbekistan Airways before departure.
Ticket prices are the same as for adult passengers.

Pregnant Passenger Policy

Passengers with a gestational age of less than 35 weeks must provide a doctor's certificate issued at least 7 days before the departure date.
Passengers with a pregnancy of more than 35 weeks must be accompanied by medical personnel and obtain approval from a doctor.

Disabled Passenger Policy

Passengers with disabilities can contact the airline at least 48 hours prior to departure for escort services.
Passengers with special needs who are also veterans of the Great Patriotic War receive discounts ranging from 50% to 100%.

Uzbekistan Airways History

Uzbekistan Airways was founded in 1992 or some time after the Soviet Union collapsed by the then President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov. The exact date the airline was founded was January 28, 1992. Then, on May 31, 1992, the airline took over Uzbekistan's branch of the Russian airline Aeroflot.

In 1998, Uzbekistan Airways acquired an Airbus A310 aircraft that enlarged its fleet. A year later, two Boeing 757-200s also entered the airline's fleet. By April 2000, the airline had grown rapidly and had 16,296 people working for it. In 2014, Uzbekistan Airways managed to carry 2.6 million passengers.
