An MCO is a physical Exchange Order issued to you after booking a JR Pass from Traveloka. You will not be able to board JR train lines with your MCO, as this needs to be exchanged for an official pass at designated JR Rail Offices or JR Exchange Offices.

The rail pass is non-transferable, only valid for the person named on the MCO. The names on the MCO and passport must match. Any minor mistype can result in failure during the MCO exchange.
