Writing a Helpful Review

Reviewing an accommodation you stayed at can help other travelers decide their perfect place of stay. Make sure your review follows these guidelines:Easy to read: Use standard writing style (spelling, grammar, capitalization and punctuation). Minimize the use of slangs, upper cases, and abbreviations.

Original: Reviews should be original and based on your own experience.

Clean: Avoid swear words and improper language. Reviews should be appropriate for all ages.

On-topic: Reviews should be about the relevant property and not other accommodations or issues other than your staying experience. Include enough details and advice that will improve other travelers’ staying experience. To submit feedback on other issues, such as your booking experience with Traveloka, please refer to the email address listed at the bottom of this page.

Up-to-date: Reviews should focus on the latest property condition and events to avoid giving other guests inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information.

Non-commercial: Reviews should not contain any promotional materials (including links to social media accounts, personal blogs or other websites).

Respectful of privacy: Reviews should not contain personal information, including phone numbers, email addresses, or links to other websites.

Compliant with policies: Reviews must comply with local laws, regulations, and other terms and conditions that may apply.

Please note that all guest submissions will be moderated before being made public.  If you wish to offer feedback on your experience with Traveloka, please share your thoughts with us through email at cs@traveloka.com. We’re all ears.
