Holy moths. I stayed during the end of October and over the course of 3 nights, I saw no less than 15 moths. They made me cautious to keep my luggage zipped and always check the bathroom floor upon return. During my stay a large storm hit the city and my window actually started pooling some water on the windowsill. Made a comment to the front desk and got an eye roll or two for not coming down immediately (though it happened over night). The hotel is an older building, as you can imagine, but the location cannot be beat.

The room was neat and tidy we had trouble with the tv and it lagged quite a bit and took 5 minutes for the tv to boot up and log Netflix in. You could feel the springs of the mattress when sitting on the bed and there was a rip in the side of the mattress. Not enough towels and always had to go to reception to get more towels. The pool was very cold. There was no music, so it felt very boring and awkward. Also, no spa for a relaxing time and the fan in the pool room was cold and made the overall atmosphere quite cold and freezing.

The room I had this visit, the carpet is looking stained and shabby. With the Supermarket close it would be good to have plates, knives, forks and spoons in the room.

The long life milk was off or awful. Couldn’t get a tax invoice on check in, was told I would be given one at checkout. Then at checkout told by Jordan the shift manager that a tax invoice was not possible because I had booked through a third party

Be aware this is a budget hotel with basic facilities. While the room was clean, the bed was positioned next to a floor to ceiling window. A flimsy, see-through blind with a light outside shining through it made it impossible to get a good night's sleep without moving the bed. Ear plugs were needed to block out the creaking noises heard during the night. I won't be returning.
