Deep Blue Hotel & Hot Springs

Nice place but for the price it would have been nice to have a bottle of water supplied in the room and coffee from the coffee machine supplied with breakfast instead of the perculated coffee. Other than that it was great.

When we arrived the receptionist was talking with a guest, we weren’t even acknowledged, the conversation went for nearly 5 minutes, not a good start. Our room was lovely until my husband laid down in bed and I went into the bathroom, the bathroom fan has been placed in the cavity just above the bed and was vibrating the whole wall. This meant everytime the lights were turned on in the bathroom the noise above the bed happened, this is a huge problem, as I get up to go the bathroom 2-3 times a night and couldn’t turn the light on as it would vibrate the wall and wake my husband. The toilet roll is so far away I couldn’t reach it, the shower needs shelves in it, nowhere to put your products, oh and don’t forget

I booked here for my partners birthday, booking in for the 5 course chefs tasting menu as a nice birthday meal, looked at the photos online and it looked great. Well, sorry to say but this wasn't the case. Wooden tables, no table cloths, cutlery and glasses all different and dirty . And the fruit flies covered the restaurant. I had let them know of a peanut allergy a week before yet they only then changed the dish as we were sat down to some made up rubbery mushroom. The menu online was nothing what we had, there was certain components missing, different cuts of meat, every dish was tastless and bland. I've worked it many Michelin establishments and been in hospitality 8+ years, should hopefully know now what a good plate of food consist of. Along with this we chose a bottle of wine, they didn't have it, then chose another and they didn't have that one ? How can you now have 2 bottles of wine on your menu ? ( The lady was good to however then give us a different alternative for the same price- thankyou but this still isn't the point! ) We left and refused to pay for or meal as it was a let down to what had a been such a great day. The hot pools are good, need some more lights outside in around to make it look better if you choose the twilight session. There is no electric car charging and bits around the hotel, like going in from the car park and the lifts just seem dirty. This place really needs a good revamp. Lastly how can you charge people $30pp per morning for breakfast!

Restaurant had limited menu

The room was perfect after a very long drive from adelaide. Breakfast could have been a bit hotter but the coffee was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definatly be coming back

A clean, comfortable and air conditioned room. The Spa is the highlight of the location and we'll worth visiting. The buffet breakfast was tasty but there are several cafes a short drive away with excellent offerings.

We found the hotel room to be quite dated and not very spacious, especially for the price we paid and compared with other accommodation options in the area. It definitely feels like the rooms could benefit from some refurbishment. However, the hot spring is truly the standout feature. We really enjoyed it — relaxing, well‑maintained, and absolutely the highlight of our stay. Overall, while the hotel facilities could use improvement, the hot spring experience alone makes the visit memorable.

The hotel is very nice. Conveniently located and having the Hot Springs next door is a plus. Downside, the rooms are not very sound proof. We could hear the people above us walking around. I rang reception to get someone to help us with our luggage and no-one came. I eventually went down and got the luggage trolley myself.

Staff were lovely. Rooms were basic and clean. I don’t think it is fair to market this a hot springs resort if this is paid separately at full price and the hotel guests have the same access to the limited schedules that apply to outside visitors. A more accurate description would be this is a HOTEL with a thermal baths business beside it. There are no real benefits for being a guest for attending the thermal baths. There is no discount and is exactly the same as if for visitor attending. The buffet organisation was very chaotic, with the food positioned at far end making it necessary to navigate through small spaces between dining tables to reach it. Children were unsupervised grabbing food with their hand and pushing in where adults had lined up to serve. Food and juice was finished quickly and not refilled often.

Great weekend getaway. Spa and hot springs next door. Beach walking distance. Breakfast was fantastic. Not many options but the quality was impressive. All staff throughout hot springs spa and hotel were polite and helpful. Great weekend
