Beautiful property with easy access to Bowral Main Street and shops. Lived our winter get away.

Comfortable country stay. Small rooms, but for an overnight it was fine.

Very pleasant

Great stay. Would love to spend more time here. Highly recommend for a quiet and peaceful getaway.

Lovely hotel, what a nice stay

Breakfast service was poor. Hardly any cutleries or clean table or proper salt shaker. The lady at the bar was absolutely amazing though. The beds were not comfortable at all. Too soft and old.

Lovely surroundings and beautiful old building with luxe feel. Welcoming check in experience. Room and ensuite was a little cramped however, and double bed instead of queen is unusual these days. Toilet seat also too small for bowl and meant you were sitting directly on porcelain. Meals a little overpriced too, though the dining area is very cosy and welcoming. Good for a single night stay but probably wouldn’t stay any longer.

Such a great and peaceful stat. Walking distance to the Centennial. Friendly staff.

The hotel was lovely. However, there are certainly areas around the food and drinks that can be worked on. We had cocktails in the lounge area and it was clear that the barman had no idea as he made our Margherita with lime cordial. It was replaced by a much more efficient staff member. Our room had a Lounge Service menu but when we went to the bar, there were limited options and we were not permitted to order some items. Why??? We don’t know! Breakfast the next morning was cold. We were there at7.00am opening time but the ‘hot’ food in the Bain Marie was cold, or at best Luke warm. For such a highly regarded hotel, I believe they can do so much better.

A charming place to stay, beautiful grounds, rooms with fires for ambience /coziness. Staff were very helpful . Our room was clean and bed very comfortable.

Although old, the property had character and the staff were very polite and helpful.

We loved our stay. It was the perfect escape from busy city life. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff incredibly friendly, and my favourite part was the fireplaces in the lobby and common areas, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a good book.

Stay was good, however dining experience was not that great. Time taken between courses was too long (Over 2hrs in total)

I love the area and the open fires. Breakfast was good but had to keep asking for food and drinks to be refilled in the buffet. It seems short- staffed not enough servers

Beautiful location well groomed gardens. Some parts of the property overdue for repairs
