Zagame’s House has a good energy, and the staff are genuinely warm, helpful, and welcoming. I appreciated the comfort of the room, especially the large king bed, which made for a pleasant stay. That said, I think honesty matters. While the hotel is enjoyable and well run, I would not personally describe it as a true boutique hotel. In my view, it feels closer to a simple, comfortable three-star stay than a distinctive boutique experience. There is nothing wrong with that, but I do think the distinction is important. My stay was comfortable, the team was lovely, I simply believe the branding sets an expectation of something more refined and individual than what is delivered.

Wished there was a microwave in the room, and the room was very noisy (Saturday night when the crazy loud car drivers were out racing up and down the street). Had to sleep with ear plugs in. Otherwise, great place!

Good hotel with one serious flaw: the toilet is right next to the bed with only a thin glass wall separating. If you want any privacy you’ll find yourself taking a dump in the lobby restroom.

I stay and was in Melbourne on business. I cant tell you how impressed i was with the front office manager and his level of service. Awshaf I believe his name was (Apologies if spelt wrong) Amazing service, super friendly and extremely professional. A best in class example of what hotels service should be. I will be staying there again as a result.
