Bedspread had bodily fluid stains all over as well as the jetted tub was disgusting and filthy. The room smelled musty and the pool was out of order. Last time we will stay at this dump!

I found the pool to be very dirty, when we arrived on Saturday afternoon the stairwell smelt like urine. The rooms were very humid even with the air conditioning at full blast and the AC needs to be better or get a second wall unit in the rooms or at least the bigger ones like I had. Aside from that it was okay.

For the price paid at almost 250 a night, our room was very small, and the room smelt weird, almost musty. The water in the bath and shower came out rusty and brown at the beginning. Found it odd that a voucher was needed for the complimentary breakfast and we were not allowed to leave the dining area with any food or drinks. They only had one bagel toaster for an entire dining room and was rather crammed. The bar and grill is also now closed permanently which was disappointing. Positives of this stay- most of the staff were very friendly and attentive, and it was clean. The room we were in was quite noise proof which was nice. Just very outdated. Overall I don’t think we would stay again unfortunately for the price paid.

The reservation started out terrible - the room I selected and that was pictured in my booking was not what we were given (picture a shoebox) that I was advised I had booked - bait and switch/false advertising! The male employee we approached about it, simply kept telling me I booked the wrong room and wouldn’t look at my booking. I was ready to cancel my reservation and take my chances elsewhere during a baseball tournament weekend. The female on duty had already sourced me a new room (that was the room in the pictures of my reservation!!) told me it would be 10$ more per night (when you are paying 250 who cares) to make me and my family happy - YES PLEASE!!! The rest of our stay (2 nights/3 days) were nice.

Looks like the property has been recently upgraded Rooms were very good, clean, newly upgraded. Staff were miserable. At check in it appeared we were inconvenienceing them. Over three days only saw the breakfast girl smile. One day the cleaners did not close the room door properly so it was left open, unlocked. When I spoke with the cleaner they just shrugged. Have stayed in other Monte Carlos in the past and they were excellent. Don't know what was up with this staff.

Great hotel with only one real standout. The restaurant is not open. They say it closed during Covid. They do provide a continental breakfast of pastries, croissants, two cereals, tea coffee a mixed fruit bowl, yogurt, and bread assortment with jams. It would be appreciated to offer the bar open at least during a certain period in the evening, the signage and room should be eliminated because it does come across as false advertising. We booked based on the convenience of being able to get a bite to eat, and a beverage. Your website also shows the bar/restaurant as a feature. Covid was 5 years ago, so fix this as that's a poor reason at this point to still offer such. Further, the options at breakfast need at least one protein...not everyone can eat carbs for breakfast. Even boiled eggs that are cold work, at minimal cost. We literally think chocolate chip cookies exchanged for eggs...makes more sense for a continental breakfast item. Yes we know you offer a full breakfast for an addition $9+ dollar but...no need to do waffles and bacon...just fix the bread bread and bread options in the morning. Also the door in room 208 need shaving down underneath...it gets stuck on the floor as the tiles are too high and you cannot close it without waking the dead. Last point if you can offer a full breakfast then offer a few select dishes in the evening too...a burger, chicken item, a wrap? Wouldn't be hard. Beer and wine...simple & helpful to guests stuck. Even at from desk in a fridge.

The room was nice and clean looked like it was renovated in the last few years but the blinds in our room was broken so we couldn’t close it and the shower head in the bathroom was really old and long over due to be replaced and none of the ice machines were broken except the main floor. As well when we went down for breakfast it needed to be refilled as there wasn’t much to pick from. It’s a nice place and would go again.

At the end of the day, it's a place to sleep. And it certainly is a good place to sleep. Several pillows of varying support levels, comfortable mattress. The only thing that I would be a little concerned about was the slipperiness of the shower. I was a little nervous getting clean. They need to supply shower mats. No idea about what the breakfast or other amenities are like as I did not partake.
