The Hollis Halifax - a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton

was quiet until the second night. door across the way people coming and going door slamming. from 10 pm til 3 am. than police showed up banging on there door asking to open up. police eventually were invited in. lots of discussion then they left and then quiet. Hotel should have addressed the noise issues sooner than later. Missed out on half a night’s sleep. definitely won’t be back. practically no room to park and drop luggage. For the money can find better hotels in the same area. Staff was great other then the situation they had to deal with which I think is more management then the staff

Beautiful hip hotel right downtown. The staff was excellent, especially Stephen. Our suite was small but comfortable with a great view of the harbor. There was a problem with the heating fan, but not too bad. So conveniently located, we walked all around to the sights. We enjoyed our stay/.

Nice hotel. The one thing we didn’t like was the off site parking. On checkout, we had to wait a looooooong time to get our vehicle

Love this hotel! Staffs were very nice. We had an overnight flight and were pretty tired on arrival day. The receptionist arranged an early check in and upgraded our room. Also the hotel is located near by waterfront. Room is pretty clean as well. Convenient and definitely recommend 👍

Would be nice if they have parking. I paid more than $25 a day in the assigned parking lot

Parking was unfortunately off-site. Everything else was great.

Nice location but the rooms were very cold. They did give us a little ceramic heater. You can also hear the rain water in the pipes on the outside wall. The ceiling in the room has long cracks in the drywall. The bathroom faucet was loose making it hard to adjust water. A few things that make you look at it being a little over priced.

Room we stayed in was beautiful. Stayed in a corner room king bed suite with a bathroom off of the room and living room, spacious kitchette and dining set. Lots of difference spaces in one hotel room. Wow.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Hollis Halifax hotel. We booked a “studio suite” but were delighted when we walked into a full suite with separate bedroom. Check in and check out went very smoothly and efficiently. The staff were friendly and professional.

Always so clean, convenient downtown location in walking distance to the waterfront and several restaurants

It was nice and ALL the staff were kind and helpful. I found the room dated, but it was spacious and clean. Parking was a nightmare. They need a constant door man outside with the limited room on the main road to pull up for Valet

The heat in 313 was out of control. We barely slept because the room was so hot. The fan was turned on high and we turned the temperature to 15 degrees but it felt like 28 degrees.

The rooms are layout awkward. The bed was very comfortable.
