Great parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was good with a great menu choice.

Spacious car park, clean bar area, fantastic staff and excellent food. Pillows a bit too thin for my liking but that’s personal preference.

Squeaky floorboards meant a disturbed night. The staff are excellent but overall the hotel is tired a needs updating. The food was good.

Not great! Smelly carpets and very dated rooms! The mattress’s need throwing away.. terrible! The room above floor was soo noisy as they walked around not pleasant. Would not recommend. Sorry!!

We had an overall great stay! The manager was lovely! Unfortunately some of the bar staff not so much. We had a starter missed off our food and we asked for the baby’s meal to come out with the starters. Which did not happen even though we were told this was fine. There was no apology for the missing starter or for the fact the baby’s food did not come out. They were just dumped in the table. I think this let the place down a little. As the staff in the evening were generally not as good as in the morning. Although the man with black hair (pattern on the side) was very helpful through our whole stay. In the morning we were given some toast before all the breakfast came out for the baby. Which we thought was lovely and very helpful! The food was however amazing and the prices were so reasonable! Would definitely recommend eating here! The beds were not very comfortable and there was an odd spell in the rooms but we asked for some air fresheners (as saw these in other rooms) and this helped. Our shower was also broken but my partner had just got back from work so just used it although not great! Overall would recommend for the price!

The lady who worked there was amazing. She made sure we were all taken care of. Such a lovely atmosphere. The gentleman who gave our breakfast was also lovely. Such a lovely team

Staff extremely friendly and helpful but unfortunately that's as good as gets. Although the room was clean and fairly well presented, there was no tea or milk left, something we was desperate for after returning after a long tiring day. Although we knew the hotel hires function rooms out , we wasn't expecting a party in one of these to go on till 1am with music thumping , probably didnt help that our room was right above it. Breakfast was advertised as buffet style , it wasn't. You get a full English and thats it, this was good quality but the lack of fruit juice etc did disappoint.

Can’t recommend highly enough. Absolutely fantastic value for money and reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful. New owners have only been there for 5 months, and have zero doubt the place will go strength to strength. Don’t hesitate to book.

Reasonably priced, good service

Nice and spacious room. My only 'complaint' is that when we checked in we were told that breakfast was included. I didn't select this option but as I booked a number of hotels for our trip I didn't recall each one. Wish they had been clearer but the breakfast was both good and reasonably priced. I would definitely suggest staying here if you are in the area.

After check in I went to my room and was hit by a nasty smell. Lovely young woman on reception got me moved immediately with no quibble. Hotel was great. Loads of parking. Good bar and restaurant. Comfortable bed and generally very quiet. Friendly helpful staff. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

I liked my stay

The rooms were tired with mold in the shower. Very basic. Taps were loose. Lots of noise late into the night, there were a group of people outside talking until 2am which kept us up all night.

Had a lovely stay, i just made a mistake to eat outside couldn't finish it had load wasps around so had to leave it food lovely though

HH is perfectly acceptable, it’s a high turnover hotel with functions also available/happening. The staff work tirelessly and have a smile on their faces. Never usually have an issue with noise but this time there was music ongoing until around 2am, couldn’t be sure if it was from the hotel or not, there was also an acrid smell of smoke that eventually led me to closing the windows on one of the hottest nights of the year.. The morning revealed a layer of ash over all the cars, not sure if it was a hotel function or a property nearby, unfortunately couldn’t find any staff early in the morning to ask.

Large clean family room, reception staff really helpful on check-in, good menu in bar/pub, be wary of parties if using as a stop-over - there was loud music until late.

Booked family room for 3 was given twin room for 2. Only room left. Previous couple booking in before us also got wrong room. Showed staff member our booking as she thought we booked it incorrectly. Apparently her system showed just for 2. Bathroom shower mould around base of shower, could do with replacing and bathroom floor looked like it had built-in dirt in particular areas. Worse room ever in history. Very much doubt I will use expedia to book room for a night again.

The property was quite nice, very tired though. The evening meals were reasonable, but the breakfast was quite poor.
