Short walk to centre on well lit streets.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and both times I have no complaints, other than a few stains on the walls it has been quite enjoyable and I felt safe here especially as a sole female visitor

The hote was clean and the staff helpful and friendly. It is a budget hotel and the rooms are very small. They are well-insulated and so there was no noise from outside. The heating/air con is a bit fiddly, it takes a while to get your room to the desired temperature. Otherwise great. I didn't try the food.

No frills but everything you need

Main issues with the room was no hairdryer ,and double bed was against a wall so the person on the inside had to climb over or shuffle to the end of bed in middle of night to go to the loo disturbing their partner,and green light on the ceiling lit up the room.we also had some trouble with noisy guests arguing in the corridor outside the room in the early hours of the morning.Bathroom was spotless and shower was great.tea/coffee in the room was basic but fine ,breakfast was chaotic ,we had to keep asking for basics as they kept running out of everything ,not keeping on top of restocking , no plates ,then no forks ,no butter for the toast ,the food choices were good though and when it arrived it was decent for the price paid.

Excellent bar and staff Rooms and corridors felt unclean

Welcoming and helpful staff at check-in, breakfast and in the evening (bar). Breakfast had several self service hot and cold options and seemed fresh (pastries and meats were very nice). Room was sufficient for need, smaller than other hotel chains (but room cost was comparably smaller too). The bed was comfy, shower was hot and overall sufficient space for a couple of nights away from home with work. The room itself did get very hot overnight and the cooling system helped the temperature come down a bit but not enough for my comfort. I stayed with colleagues and they had similar hot rooms. I would look to stay again, but perhaps not in the hotter summer time.

Communication may be automated but price was not accurately listed for the parking. It was mentioned 9£ a day, but was actually 10£ per day. It is slightly inconvinient from the designated parking place to the hotel especially with belongings. However, despite the mentioned above, all was well and Iwas having a relatively comfortable stay up until I needed to 'validate' my parking. I approached the 'reception', and a staff attended to it relatively quickly, but upon myself greeting the receiptionist and asking to validate my parking chip. I was responded with a condesending and interrogating tone requesting for my name and room number without any pleasantries or greetings. It definitely made a dent to my evening. Let's just say, that particular staff member should learn from the others in hospitality.

Rooms were very clean, basic but comfy! Only moan that with windows that dont open- the fan/air has to be working as the rooms are warm!

Rooms are really small. Triple roommatefelt a bit like a young offenders institute

We arrived too early to check-in, so dropped baggage & heading into town for lunch. Check-in opened at 1500 and was very slow, due to the volume of guests. It would have benefited a 2nd person to reduce the volume quicker! Tip: avoid checking in between 1500-1600. Strange orientation of room, with a TV on the wall 90° to the bed. Difficult to lie and watch! Limited power points unless you climb onto bed and use above the pillows! OK for mobiles, but watch you don't pull the mobile cable while sleeping or you could end up with a bump on your head! Limited options in area, but a nice 15 min walk into city centre is not an issue!

Decent budget hotel, basic rooms but comfy bed. Only issue i had was cleaners not topping up coffee supplies

Great staiy

The staff were fantastic! The overall hotel was ok, with possibly the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Thank goodness it was only for one night!
