Quinton is lovely and kind. The stairs are gorgeous and there is a lift if needed. The location is incredible if you want to be in that district. Room was cool and quiet through a 90 degree+ heatwave Honestly, the only thing that was odd is that there is no place to hang towels or keep toiletries in the toilet or shower. That’s not a big deal - just requires a bit of creativity. I would stay again!

We checked into this hotel about 11pm. Luckily I always check our hotel rooms for bed bugs before I bring our suitcases inside because I found one on the bed. When my husband told the man at the front desk he offered us a new sheet which we refused and asked for a new room. He said there were no other rooms so we had to book a new room at 12am and get a taxi to the new hotel. The next day we went back for a refund and they said they can only refund us for 3/4 nights because someone could have slept in the room last night. I asked them how since the man at the front desk saw the bed bug and they told me they weren’t positive it was a bed bug so anyone could sleep in the room. I found the bug under the mattress pad in the seam of the mattress. They were kind and helpful, but I think I should have been refunded for all 4 nights and they should not put anyone else in that room until it is cleaned. Just wanted to give everyone who stays here the opportunity to check your bed before spending the night!!!

Lot of mold and dust in the room and cabinets/walls. I understand it’s an old building but that should be seriously managed. Excellent location though! Lot of restaurants and nice parks around. Staff nice and helpful. Area felt very safe. Not sure if I’d come back as the mold issue seems bad.

Very good area but that’s basically it, room is so tiny i have to put my luggage on the bed to access the bathroom. A/C was broken and barely functioning some cool that they have to give me a fan to survive the heat. Staff are very nice though.

The air conditioning was not strong at all I woke up sweating every night. One staff member during check in was not friendly or welcoming at all. Also noticed mold on the ceiling of the bathroom during my stay and it terribly grossed me out. Other than that the room was fine. Felt safe staying there though. I’d probably stay here if I was on a low budget and didn’t have high expectations.

Location,location,location! It’s close to Effie tower which is why we chose it; also there are quite a few restaurants around. The classic twin room and its bathroom are small which reminds me of the hotel room in Japan; there is no tub but a small shower. The closet had a bad mold smell because it shares the wall with the shower. The power went off shortly twice during our stay but luckily the A/C kept running though. I would still stay at this hotel but with a different room type. Btw, the hotel has an elevator which is a plus.

On arrival, we was told we were given two rooms. I originally booked one family room. . The lady in reception said she was sorry either I cancel the booking and get a refund but at that time of night I didn’t know where else to book so we had to stay there. This was quite disappointing that we were given one room on the first floor, the second room on the fourth floor The manager the next morning said he was sorry and he would give us a complimentary breakfast

We had a wonderful stay. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a lovely handwritten note and balloons in our room as a surprise for my daughter who’s birthday we were celebrating. This was such a special gesture that we really appreciated. The room was spotless, breakfast very nice, staff so helpful and the location was brilliant - a couple of minutes walk from the tower! We loved our stay!
