Excellent front desk service. Very easy location, a metro very close to the entrance, delicious crepes across the street, and a formidable department store two hundred yards away

Mind the noise from Metro in the room. This is what Opera experiences as well.

The room is small, but it is expected, considering the price and the location. The hotel has been renovated, so it has AC. But, the walls are thin, so you can hear other customers passed by your room.

I strongly recommend staying at this hotel. Not only is the location fantastic, the rooms clean the stand out is the absolutely amazing staff. A shout out to Oliver for his hospitality. A huge MERCI to Mr. Youssef for his ability to make us feel welcomed. Your kindness is greatly appreciated. We look forward to our next trip & staying at your hotel.

Small and nice hotel, excellent location

Room was clean and described as cosy which it most certainly was - a mistake on my part as you could hardly swing a cat in the room or bathroom - would recommend sizing up. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional

This property was very quaint. We were looking for a property in central Paris. I definitely chose the perfect one. The staff were extremely helpful in every way. The room was very clean. I enjoyed the coffee machine. It’s the first hotel to offer milk in the room.. We didn ‘t use the breakfast area so I can’t speak about the food I would definitely return to this property also I would recommend it.

We stayed for 1 night at the Hôtel Excelsior Opéra. The location is excellent. The big department stores are a two minute walk away from the hotel and most major sights are within walking distance. There are also several metro stations nearby. We had room 532 which was bigger and better than we expected. It was designed to sleep 3 people, had a good size bathroom with a bathtub and shower in connection with, an espresso machine and some capsules, a good size desk and two chairs, and a stocked minibar. The noise insulation was great. The hotel is situated on a busy road and we did not hear any noise. The breakfast room was on the first floor. It was fairly small but did not get crowded. The breakfast had all the standard offerings: Breads, croissants, pastries, ham, two kinds of cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, scrambled eggs and tea and coffee. The items were of good quality (we especially liked the hard cheese), the selection was replenished regularly and we found it to be good value for 14 euros. The only 2 inconveniences were that there was no price list for the minibar, it was readable only using a QR code / reader. For us, two elderly people, that was too much technology. Other people have mentioned that there should have been free bottled water in the room, but we didn't get that. Still, we are very likely to be back as we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is very conveniently located in a very touristy spot. The hotel and rooms are overall very clean but they use a room scent that is soooo overpowering and cloying. I’m not sure what they’re trying to mask. Also considering that there is a sign in Japanese asking customers to review the hotel is highly advise using such a strong room scent. The Japanese are even more sensitive to strong scents because they don’t use strong scents and perfume liberally as we do. Also my room was extremely small. Luckily I only needed to sleep there but if you’re thinking of spending some time in your room this is not the right place. For my purposes at the time which was to attend a concert in Olympea it was on and convenient but for coming to Paris and taking it slowly and properly sightseeing I would go somewhere else.

Amazing and friendly staff at the front desk. Everyday cleaning. Easy access and close to most iconic spots, restaurants, shopping malls, and stores.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel, the lobby and rooms are newly renovated and everything was very clean. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful. The only complaint is that the air conditioning in the room was very weak and wasn't able to keep up, so the room was quite hot. To be fair, Paris was experiencing a heat wave when we were there so I'd still definitely recommend this hotel.

We were at this hotel for only 2 nights. It was in a great location. Staff were nice and friendly. My only complaint would be the shower/tub. The water pressure was low and the sides of the tub were too high for someone like me who has an issue with my knee so getting in and out was difficult.
