Although we arrived quite early at 1 PM and I expected to wait, the staff actually let me check in at that time without me even asking! That was really great! And the hotel is so beautiful. I tried the massage and it was good! The breakfast buffet was also amazing with a variety of food. Would love to stay here again when I visit Surabaya next time!

I had a very pleasant stay at Bumi Surabaya City Resort.
Location: Perfectly located in the city center with easy access to everything. The surroundings are green and peaceful, which makes it feel like a relaxing escape even though it’s right in the middle of the city.
Service & Facilities: The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The check-in/check-out process was smooth, and the hotel offers plenty of family-friendly and activity options. Wi-Fi connection was stable as well.
Room Comfort: The room was spacious and had a nice ambiance, making it very comfortable to rest.
Cleanliness: Everything was well-maintained—the bedroom, bathroom, and overall hotel area were spotless.
Overall, it was a good experience and I’d definitely recommend this hotel for both leisure and business stays in Surabaya.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Mr. Nyoman was nice and very welcoming when I arrived at the hotel and seemed lost because it is the first time I stayed there. The hotel ambience was good. The room was spacious, having a bath tub is a plus for me. The hotel location is strategic, near TP. Will be staying here again next time I visit Surabaya.

Staying at bumi surabaya city resort issa great choice! Near from tp, located in the city center, good services, great food & restaurants, the cleanliness is very good. Even the atmosphere so nice, feel like not being in Surabaya, bcss in there are lots of trees in the hotel, the air is fresh and beautiful 🤩 highly recommended to staying at here! Soon I'll come back here again, super love <3

When I requested a 1:30 PM checkout in the app, there was no notification that a 25% charge would be applied. There was no notification when I checked in or called during the day.

Even though I've stayed here many times, the hotel's ambiance is beautiful, and the breakfast is varied. However, the service for lost items is different from other hotels, even those rated lower than Hotel Bhumi.
Guests weren't informed about lost items, so we had to contact the hotel beforehand to confirm the location.
Finally, retrieving lost items took a very long time. It took me 30 minutes, as my boarding time was 2:30 p.m.
It ended up taking an hour to receive my items, as I had to wait for the safe, the manager, and so on. 😔 Looks like it's no longer a favorite hotel option in Surabaya.

Vintage hotel, complete with bathtub and shower. Spacious garden, pool with outdoor heated jacuzzi.
Delicious food with a wide variety.
Security is also excellent. I happened to stay there during a demonstration. Security was excellent and secure.

This hotel is so niche that it can't be compared to other modern hotels in Surabaya. The atmosphere feels like Bali, even though it's actually in Surabaya. It's no wonder so many foreign tourists stay there. The service is incredibly friendly. The breakfast, while not very varied, is delicious, especially the local dishes. Hopefully, I'll be able to return.
