I stayed here in an executive room, a decent size. The room was clean, had a smart TV, and had an aesthetic design. There were free snacks, coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the bathroom had a bathtub.
The staff and security were also friendly. They were very responsive.
The limited parking space made it difficult to turn around. I brought my family on a touring motorcycle. My suggestion for the future is to park all motorcycles in reverse for easier exits.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It's definitely because my first stay was so memorable. This time, besides being on vacation, I wanted to participate in the Malioboro Run event, which is very easy to get to. Overall, the quality of this hotel is still very good, just like the first time I stayed here. One downside is the poor TV signal, which is often out of service. I've tried contacting the hotel staff via my room's iPhone, but no one answered. Please fix this.

I checked in at 11:00 PM, I asked the receptionist to help me with the reservation at Traveloka. Currently there are 2 crews. The receptionist was busy so I made the reservation myself. I was so rushed that I didn't check the date, it turned out to be for next week. How can I get a refund? The receptionist said yes, but only for 2 weeks. The receptionist helped me, but why didn't she say it could be changed on that day too. And I ordered a new room again. I don't know... when I got there, the receptionist called. Why did you order this again... why didn't you help me earlier? The other one was lost, I don't know where... and the receptionist said sorry, this can't be canceled and the money can't be returned because the order was at Traveloka. I'm really disappointed. why can't it be processed.. I'll try to sell it later to help when there are walk-in guests, sir. and want to check out at 11, it turns out the room is not sold even though it's busy at that time.. disappointed, sir. why not help us.
but the other service is good. only reservation, the receptionist is not responsive to help order on traveloka... we are still confused, we have to order 3r double and only 1 room is used even though there are only 2 people. 1 more room is finally not used and the money cannot be returned.. really very disappointed.

In terms of location, this hotel is very strategic, because it is close to Malioboro. You can walk or take a pedicab. The hotel is comfortable and the air conditioning is very cold. However, in the room I stayed in, the bathroom was a bit clogged, so the water took a long time to drain and stagnated. However, the food is delicious and varied, but the cakes are a bit hard. The service is friendly. Recommended for the affordable price and satisfactory facilities and service.

Vacationing with family from Bengkulu to Jogja, staying here, booked 3 superior rooms and got a free upgrade to 3 privilege rooms that have smart rooms and are very comfortable. The room size is the same as the deluxe, but it has a smart room with Google Assistant, the room is clean, fragrant, the bathroom is also clean, the AC is cold, the TV is really good, there are lots of channels, you can also use YouTube. There is Wi-Fi but maybe many people are using it so it's a bit slow. We booked a room with breakfast, thank God all the food is suitable for the palate, delicious and quite varied for children to seniors. It's really worth staying here for that price... My family and I really enjoyed staying at the Grand Malioboro. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were clean. Although it looks like an older hotel, it was very comfortable.
