Excellent Stay at the Grand Mercure Hotel. I had a wonderful experience at the Grand Mercure Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, spacious. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious food. The hotel’s location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Super delightful stay experience. The hotel offers Asia Restaurant with various all-you-can-eat menu options. The lunch is surprisingly delightful. Perfect choice to go for foodies and if you are travelling to North Jakarta / Ancol. Perfect for leisure as it is so close to Dufan and any other attraction in north Jakarta.

The second experience was unpleasant, at 2:00 PM the room was not ready, had to wait for approximately 1 hour, booked a deluxe room with 1 king size bed, but was given a double bed for 1509, the room's AC was not cold, had to be fixed with the excuse that the outdoor unit was off... my rest was disturbed by conditions like this.

For a 5-star hotel, I expected more. Personally, I found the friendliness of the receptionist and security guard to be less than 5-star. I took a king-size room, which was quite spacious and had a good bed. The toilet was not very clean and looked like it had been cleaned hastily after the previous customer. The towels smelled strange, the body wash was out of stock, there was no conditioner or body lotion, and the TV was small for the room. The corners of the room were a bit dirty and dusty around the curtains. In the morning, someone was cleaning the outside windows, which was quite disruptive to my staycation. Then, during the day, I ate at the restaurant downstairs, and the price and taste were quite bad, so I didn't enjoy it much.
