Nice hotel. Clean and comfy rooms with bright colors. Easy to check in no need to pay deposit. Easy to using wifi. Good service. I got the free upgrade room with the promo price from app! A living room with city views, a minibar with mini fridge, a toilet, a master bedroom, a large bathroom with separated closet and shower room completed with bathtub. Many power sockets, functional lamps, 2 TV, functional towels, completed with bolsters, a bath salt, 2 pairs of comfy sandals, 4pcs tea and coffee compliments, a weight measure, a hairdryer, locker, and bath clothes also. always like to the pay attentions for details and decorated towels also on the bed. Nice pools views and breakfast rooms also. Recommended to come back again to stays here💖

Nice hotel. Good services. Clean and comfy. Easy to check in, no need to pay deposit. Easy to using wifi. Complete equipment's in the room such as: towels by it functions, amenities is good by quality and quantity, decorated towels on the bed, many functions lamps, nice quality TV, have maybe power sockets, and mini refrigerator. I got free upgrade room include bathtub, living room, mini bar, additional wc, and its promo price from app! Nice pools and breakfast room views. Recommended to come back and stays again here💖

eskalator mati dan akses menuju basement masih terkunci di jam check out. You need to consider your guests' comfort. If basement access is only by elevator, let them know earlier. Your guests aren't just young people, right? Why you let older people have to use a broken escalator? tanpa permintaan maaf lagi.

However, we also regret and apologize for the inconvenience you experienced. The problem that day has been taken seriously by Management. If I may explain, to get to the parking lot of our building, we have 2 dedicated elevators in the parking area & there are 2 escalators (which we only operate at certain times, such as when there is an event in the ballroom for example). On the day of your stay, our Engineering found there was a problem with the 2 parking elevators, so they decided to turn them off for safety reasons while waiting for the elevator technician to arrive. As an alternative, we intended to turn on the escalators, but coincidentally our escalators also had a slight problem, so for several hours (until the escalators were back on) guests were forced to go through the parking ramp to get to their parking spots. And I understand the inconvenience you experienced. It is the Hotel's obligation to provide safe and comfortable facilities for all guests. And I apologize if at that time we slightly failed to fulfill it. This incident is a valuable lesson for the hotel. We have learned from our mistakes and are improving our maintenance to prevent a recurrence. We hope you will consider this again when you return to Surabaya, with our improved facilities, of course. The facilities and rooms are comfortable, and the location is strategic, with plenty of culinary options nearby.
The in-room cooler wasn't cool at all; the room air conditioner was actually cooler than the mini fridge.
There was a problem with one elevator, the one for in-house guests that requires access cards. Sometimes the doors took so long to close that they had to change elevators. The staff on the 5th floor (restaurant and pool area) informed me, "Oh yes, that's an error, ma'am," then another staff member said without a smile, "Ma'am, just change elevators," and directed me to another elevator that could be accessed without a card.
The staff were sometimes friendly, sometimes not. Perhaps they were tired, which is understandable. But one incident that surprised me was when I went to pick up a GrabFood order that had been left at the front desk. At first, the staff member politely asked, but when they saw that the food I'd ordered was only wrapped in rice paper and plastic (even though it was Bebek Palupi, which anyone who lived in Surabaya in the early 2000s would know is a legendary culinary legend), their expression changed, and they threw my food away. I didn't get to see the staff's names, but that's enough.

However, we also apologize for some of the obstacles that made your experience less enjoyable. The cooler temperature was actually not cold enough for us, and we will change the brand/supplier for future purchases. Regarding our lack of friendliness when delivering your order, we also apologize. Perhaps the staff did not mean to slam you or this was done accidentally. Because in fact, we do not discriminate against the type of order/food that guests leave. And I personally agree, Bebek Palupi is also a favorite of Surabaya people, including all of us. This, along with the lack of smiles from the staff at the restaurant, will be valuable input for us to provide better service in the future. Regarding the problem with the elevator door you mentioned, we will conduct an inspection in collaboration with the vendor's technical team. I've stayed at Harris several times, but this time I was a bit disappointed. The door handle of my room at Harris Gubeng was broken. I'd already confirmed it on the first day, and I thought it was the card issue. It turned out the door handle was broken, and it wasn't repaired until after I checked out.

My first time staying here. The room was clean, but the downside was its small size and poor soundproofing, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The food had a wide variety, but the seasoning wasn't very strong. But overall, it was good. I'd like to improve it, thank you.
