first entered the lobby, cool and fragrant, the check-in process didn't take long, entered the room, really nice and clean, I like to take a long shower here, the shower is like taking a shower in heavy rain, the water heater is very good, the combination of beautiful minimalist room colors, swimming pool facilities, fitness area complete with cold water and sauna is awesome, the restaurant has a great taste and a lot of variations of food and drinks, if I go to Semarang I will definitely stay here again..keep up the success Aruss Semarang..keep up the quality, Thank you very much ❤️

first entered the lobby, cool and fragrant, the check-in process didn't take long, entered the room, really nice and clean, I like to take a long shower here, the shower is like taking a shower in heavy rain, the water heater is very good, the combination of beautiful minimalist room colors, swimming pool facilities, fitness area complete with cold water and sauna is awesome, the restaurant has a great taste and a lot of variations of food and drinks, if I go to Semarang I will definitely stay here again..keep up the success Aruss Semarang..keep up the quality, Thank you very much ❤️

The staff was unprofessional. When we first arrived at the hotel to check in, they didn't help us carry our luggage using a trolley. Then, upon check-in, we were given 20 minutes for the room to be ready, which was scheduled for 2:00 AM, but we were only allowed to enter at 2:35 AM. However, the breakfast was delicious and recommended.

I stayed for more than two nights; everything went quite well. EV charging was smooth and fair, the room was clean and secure, and all the facilities were cleaned regularly and used without any issues. However, I booked a non-smoking room, but was placed on a smoking floor. So, for a few nights, the smell of cigarettes was so strong that it made me cough. However, after several complaints, they finally fixed the issue by cleaning the room and installing an air purifier inside and outside the room, which was very helpful. I was offered a room change, but after the other rooms were empty, it was quite a loss for a few nights.
Suggestion: If the customer had originally booked a non-smoking room, hopefully they could have placed a room in the non-smoking hallway as well. Since the price difference between non-smoking and smoking rooms is different, there should have been more concern there. Thank you.

I like the modern minimalist room design, the fragrant main lobby, and the security on each floor is quite tight. What's even cooler is the jogging track on the 7th floor. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to use the OR because I had to go to work early.
Please wash the towels thoroughly and add some fabric freshener; the smell is really bothersome. Everything else is fine.👍

Please don't provide towels that are no longer suitable for the room. If there are better ones, why give them the bad ones. The AC in the room takes a long time to cool down. The room is dusty. The food is varied, the taste is quite good.

I stayed 4 nights at Hotel Aruss Semarang, and this review was written on the second day. Here's my experience:
Pros:
• All the staff were very friendly and helpful, from the security guards and the lobby greeters to the front desk staff, and even the restaurant staff at breakfast. The service was truly delightful.
• The breakfast menu was varied, including Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Western dishes. The food was delicious.
• The room was spacious (I stayed in a Deluxe King Size), with complete amenities, plenty of bright lighting, and a super comfortable bed.
• The shower and bidet had strong, stable water flow.
• The location was very strategic, only 10–15 minutes from iconic Semarang attractions like Simpang Lima, Undip, and others.
• Received a refreshing and delicious Pandan Lemongrass welcome drink.
• Fast WiFi, no issues whatsoever.
• Ample and easily accessible parking.
Cons:
• The bathroom floor is very slippery, a bit dangerous, especially if you have children or the elderly. A non-slip mat should be provided.
• The towels provided look dull and smelly, even though this is a relatively new hotel. The towel hanger is poorly positioned, being far from the shower.
• Upon exiting the elevator on the 8th floor, there's a disturbing, unpleasant odor that permeates the entire area from the elevator to room 804.
• The room's soundproofing is very poor. The first night in room 804, which has a connecting door, the sound of a cell phone vibrating from the next room, the door opening and closing, and even children screaming were all clearly audible. The second night, in a room near the elevator with a city view overlooking the street, the sounds of traffic and the movement of people in front of the room were very audible. For light sleepers, this can be quite disturbing.

The staff was unprofessional. When we first arrived at the hotel to check in, they didn't help us carry our luggage using a trolley. Then, upon check-in, we were given 20 minutes for the room to be ready, which was scheduled for 2:00 AM, but we were only allowed to enter at 2:35 AM. However, the breakfast was delicious and recommended.

I stayed for more than two nights; everything went quite well. EV charging was smooth and fair, the room was clean and secure, and all the facilities were cleaned regularly and used without any issues. However, I booked a non-smoking room, but was placed on a smoking floor. So, for a few nights, the smell of cigarettes was so strong that it made me cough. However, after several complaints, they finally fixed the issue by cleaning the room and installing an air purifier inside and outside the room, which was very helpful. I was offered a room change, but after the other rooms were empty, it was quite a loss for a few nights.
Suggestion: If the customer had originally booked a non-smoking room, hopefully they could have placed a room in the non-smoking hallway as well. Since the price difference between non-smoking and smoking rooms is different, there should have been more concern there. Thank you.

I like the modern minimalist room design, the fragrant main lobby, and the security on each floor is quite tight. What's even cooler is the jogging track on the 7th floor. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to use the OR because I had to go to work early.
Please wash the towels thoroughly and add some fabric freshener; the smell is really bothersome. Everything else is fine.👍

Please don't provide towels that are no longer suitable for the room. If there are better ones, why give them the bad ones. The AC in the room takes a long time to cool down. The room is dusty. The food is varied, the taste is quite good.

I stayed 4 nights at Hotel Aruss Semarang, and this review was written on the second day. Here's my experience:
Pros:
• All the staff were very friendly and helpful, from the security guards and the lobby greeters to the front desk staff, and even the restaurant staff at breakfast. The service was truly delightful.
• The breakfast menu was varied, including Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Western dishes. The food was delicious.
• The room was spacious (I stayed in a Deluxe King Size), with complete amenities, plenty of bright lighting, and a super comfortable bed.
• The shower and bidet had strong, stable water flow.
• The location was very strategic, only 10–15 minutes from iconic Semarang attractions like Simpang Lima, Undip, and others.
• Received a refreshing and delicious Pandan Lemongrass welcome drink.
• Fast WiFi, no issues whatsoever.
• Ample and easily accessible parking.
Cons:
• The bathroom floor is very slippery, a bit dangerous, especially if you have children or the elderly. A non-slip mat should be provided.
• The towels provided look dull and smelly, even though this is a relatively new hotel. The towel hanger is poorly positioned, being far from the shower.
• Upon exiting the elevator on the 8th floor, there's a disturbing, unpleasant odor that permeates the entire area from the elevator to room 804.
• The room's soundproofing is very poor. The first night in room 804, which has a connecting door, the sound of a cell phone vibrating from the next room, the door opening and closing, and even children screaming were all clearly audible. The second night, in a room near the elevator with a city view overlooking the street, the sounds of traffic and the movement of people in front of the room were very audible. For light sleepers, this can be quite disturbing.
