The room is clean and the location is nice

The semi-finished industrial design combined with an old-style style is like stepping back in time to stay at Grandma's house. Everything is fine, except for the lack of soundproofing from outside. The hotel staff could be more welcoming, and the security guard was very helpful during check-in and checkout.

Easy access, although a bit congested. The room is quite spacious. The bathroom is clean.

The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. It's strategically located in the city center. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Perfect for a two-night stay in Jakarta.

Personally i don’t really like to write a bad review, but it became very unbearable to stay even to rest while staying here. So if you’re not a heavy sleeper & looking for a place to rest, this hotel is definitely not worth your sleep & rest time! I stayed at the junior suite room fifth floor, beneath the upstairs bar. The hotel really needs to find ways to cancel out the noises from the outside bars bcs THANK GOD, we stayed there when there were no event at the Hotel, So there were no noise from the upstairs bar, but couldn’t even imagine the noise if there were an event that night. The noise of the elevator when being used was very loud, it woke me up several times. Didn’t have any issue with the parking space bcs yet again thank god no event was held. Agreed on most reviews that the security wasn’t really that helpful or even care that we just carried our own luggage. Oh on the night of our stay, our room had 5x power outage. So we were woken up 5 times due to this, and after we called the concierge, they said it was power outage from the PLN 😅. And coincidentally after i called, the power outage stopped. Still couldn’t believe a 3.5-4 star hotel doesn’t have any backup power generator to keep the power up and running with even the slightest intrusion from PLN they should’ve had this & handled it more smoothly. Infact there weren’t many guest staying that night, couldn’t imagine if they had on full capacity. Didn’t have much trouble with any smell of the carpets or rooms. Overall honestly didn’t meet my expectations at all, such a shame that this hotel have a nice concept but the overall services just doesn’t meet the criteria for a “nice” hotel. It kinda felt like the management just doesn’t care anymore & just let this hotel faded away, such a shame bcs there were a view staff that was nice & helpful.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were nice but i did notice that the bathroom has an off-putting smell that i couldn’t quite find the source of. Other than that, had a pretty good stay at this hotel

The shower water is not hot enough, but overall it's okay

Not suitable for business visits because there are many nightlife spots around the hotel. I was disturbed by a call from a stranger at night who asked me to go to his room.

It was a nice stay. Clean and adequate space. Friendly staff and the breakfast menu was good tho to bad the buffet only for desserts not for the main course. Overall will book again in the future.

For a 4-star room, the breakfast is really not worth it. It's really minimal. There's not even milk. The interior of the room is nice. The AC is not cold enough. It was fixed twice, but it still wasn't cold. The hot water is not hot at all. Just stay here once, I won't go back again.

i used to like this hotel, but upon this recent stay i think this will be my last. no more. i tolerate the no soundproof room, the lack of amenities, that makes me have to call housekeeping just for shower cap or slippers. but breakfast time is bad experience, i regret buy the breakfast, since the variety just meh, the taste yah udahlah. it's like they didn't bother trying, but their outfit policy is ridiculous, no hotel's slippers but people just can smoke anywhere? why instead of telling people on dress code for breakfast that's not even worth it (even the 5 star hotel never tell us what to wear by the way) they just improve the management and provide a non smoking area… i've seen people bring their baby and force to sit near smoke person. it doesn't have to be a family friendly hotel to have decent logic and emphaty. perhaps you should train your employees (especially mbak2 who think she was the guardian of the hotel slippers rules) rather than telling people they can not use their slippers that you provide anyway, they should tell people to not smoking near the food or near babies, or simply just saying good morning have a nice day, it is basic hospitality standard. some rules not worth the ruin of other people's day. especially when you are in hospitality business. i'm glad some of the guests are also complain this ridiculous policies to the manager anyway. the smoke from the rooftop bars even enter the room. it's definitely my final stay here. thanks to the mbak who guard the breakfast dress code instead of making the guests comfortable during their stay. i don't usually make a review, but this stay was very disappointed one.

We extended our stay from 2 nights to 3 nights at Monopoli, and were very pleased with our experience. Staffs were attentive, the room was nice and the in-room dining was also enjoyable. No hassle with the check-in and check-out process. We didn't use the swimming pool area and rather explored the nice surrounding in the neighborhood. Will definitely be back.

Clean room, strategic location, quite affordable price. Complete facilities.
